"Well let's get this uber than"

"You couldn't wait to say that"

"You have no idea" I laughed.

"So this is your place" I walked through Dave's apartment door.

It was empty, legit no furniture. I wanted to laugh like this had to be a joke but at the same time I had no idea what could have been going on here.

"I should have excused myself, baby moms just moved and well I gave her all the furniture we had acquired together"

"Oh that was nice of you"

"Everything for my little baby" he smiled.

"That's what's up" I stood in the middle of the living room I suppose and looked around.

"We going to be quick, I feel bad you ain't got nowhere to sit" he looked around and sort of smiled.

"It's cool, but you definitely need something in here"

"Maybe you can help me with that, give my place a makeover" he smiled.

"Yeah, okayyyyyy" I laughed.

"I'm serious, could use a feminine touch in here"

"I hear you" I laughed.

Dave nodded his head and walked towards the back, I guess towards the bedroom. I looked at this big ass apartment and decided I'd go to the kitchen. The kitchen looked bare as hell too, I opened the fridge and thank God I found bottled water. Grabbing one I open it and take a sip.

"Yooo" Dave calls out from his living room.

I walked out the kitchen drinking from the water bottle.

"So you just made yourself at home?"

"I sure did" I laughed.

"Come let's roll, grab them plants" he laughed, causing me to roll my eyes.

We walked outside to his car that was parked by his apartment building. We placed the flower pots in the back of the trunk. Dave opened my door and I got in.

"Where we going?"

"Ever had Dominican inspired Chinese food?"

"Yes" I smiled at him.

"Good, we about to go to my favorite spot by you"

"Let me guess Castle Hill?"

"How you knew ?"

"Because it's my favorite spot too" I laughed.

"Favorite dish go!"

"Chofan" I laughed.

"Nah, stop playing ... Why I never thought about bringing you there before" he laughed.

"You never stopped and asked" I shrugged my shoulders.

"You're right" he looked over at me than back to the road.

"Didn't take you for the cultured kind of guy" I laughed.

"There's a lot you don't know about me" he winked.

"If that ain't the truth"

"With time you'll know all you need and want to know"

"What I want to know is why you never finished college ?"

Dave looked at me and then back at the road.

"I got into some shit, my first year I was at Richmond. Couldn't get along with my coaches and shit so I got kicked out. Second time around I got caught up in some shit" he shrugged.

"Nothing you are to talk about?"

"Not right now at least"

"Okay"

"I hate this shit, never no parking" he sighed.

We drove around for about 10 minutes until we found parking. We both got out the car and began our short little walk to the restaurant.

As we got seated, I looked around the restaurant. It was always loud and busy, but it felt so homey. I looked through the menu in silence as Dave looked through his phone. I didn't think this was a date but if it was one, this would honestly be the best date. As he placed his phone down, his eyes were met with mine.

"Get whatever you like" he smiled at me.

"I planned to" I smirked. 

"Just using me for my money"

"I mean you never want to tell me what you do so I guess I should just abuse and not ask any questions." I laughed. 

"Again with that question" he shook his head.

"I just want to know" 

"You know what I do,  just know I'm not on the corner and I hope to do some shows if this mix tape takes off" he smiled at me.

"Can I come to your show?" 

"Of course sweetheart, front row seat for you" he smiled at me. 

"I'm sure, all your girls get front row seats"

"No, just you"

"I feel honored" I playfully rolled my eyes. 

"You should be" he shrugged his shoulders. 

"Yeah, whatever you know what you want to eat?" 

"Yeah"

"What?" 

"You" he smirked with his eyes low watching me. 

Cliff hangers suck so much a$$

But I just had to ... 

This was kind of short =/
I'm getting somewhere ... I think LOL
