When I come back to breakfast, I see Adam still on my bed, staring at the door as if he was waiting for me the entire time.
" what are you still doing here?" I hiss out.
" waiting for you," he calmly replies. It agrivates me to see him perfectly okay.
" your lucky my mate is in the bathroom" I say angrily.
" please. My team put spicy beans in his food. He's going to be in there a while " he said with a smirk.
" that's enough. You can leave now," I start to say but he cuts me off.
" please let me explain. " he says with puppy dog eyes. I sigh and give in.
Usually, I'm tough against puppy dog eyes even when Noah does it to me. I don't know what's wrong with me. I sit on the edge of the bed as I wait for him to continue.
" thank you. So, I'm Adam and I've... um.... I've been assigned to ... um.... watch over you!" He said. You could obviously tell he was faking it. Making up a story so I wouldn't know the actual reason.
"That's such a lie", I say, bluntly putting out his lie.
" listen. I can't actually tell you why I'm here but I have to be here. I'll tell you eventually but not now. Please just trust me" he said. I fell to the puppy dog eyes again and sighed.
" ok, fine" I said and Adam cheered.
"So, what are we doing today?" Says Adam with a smile.
"What?" I say. " we?" I'm confused as I barely know Adam.
"Yes, we. I'm stubborn. I'm not giving in." Says Adam smirking.
" so am I!" I say. We sit in silence, staring at each other for a minute or so, before I crack. I'm not good at these things.
" fine" I scream, "lets go"
