Chapter 24

Ryan's POV

I was doing homework when I seen Chloe ringing, I hesitantly pick up my phone and hear Chloe sniffling

"T-they kicked me out" she stutters making me sit up.

"Do you want me to come get you?" I ask hesitantly, I didn't know what to say to her

"Ry I umm, let's run away together. You, me and Nora" she whispers, run away?

"Okay Chloe no, you don't have custody of Nora you'd be kidnapping if we took her" I tell her as I get off my bed grabbing my keys

"B-but she's my baby!" She says her crying getting worse

"I know but Chlo we can't kidnap her, your parents will call the cops and we'd go to jail. You don't have custody" I tell her, taking Nora would get her in so much trouble.

"Ryan I can't go to jail for taking my baby" she says as I walk downstairs, my parents give me a confused look when I come down with my keys. I mouth Chloe before walking outside

"You don't have custody Chloe, I'm coming to get you. You've seen a lawyer you will get her soon" I try to take her out of this as I get in my car

"No don't, I'll take her on my own" she tells me and hangs up, fuck. Im quick to start my car, she can't take Nora till she has custody. I know that sucks but she'll get in trouble with the law, I speed to Chloe's. there was no way in hell I was doing the speed limit, I park out front of her place and call her but get no answer.

R- I'm out front, just remember if you take Nora now your chances of getting custody of her will drop

I send her that text and wait a few minutes, hopefully she listens to me. I nervously tap on the steering wheel.
