"Did your mom tell him to rape me?" She asked
"What? Nobody told me about that." I said
"I heard Cameron say it." She said
"I swear I didn't know." I said
"It's fine. I deserved it anyway." She said
"No you didn't. Nobody deserves that shit." I said
"I was a bad girl. I disrespected Kamiya. Cheated on you and got head from a boy I hate. I had this coming." She said
I looked in her face and it wasn't the same Jamila. She looked so sad and damaged.
"Jamila just because you did all of that doesn't mean you deserve to get raped." I said
"He kept telling me that after he was done with me, no man would ever want me. That I would be damaged goods." She said
"That shit ain't true. I know everything that happened and I still want you. I still love you." I said
"You shouldn't. Someone has already been up in me. I'm worthless now." She said
"Come here." I said
I pulled her up from the pillow and laid her on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and she held me tight.
"No matter what you go throw, I'll always be here for you." I said
She just nodded and played with my beard.
"You know these 3 pieces of hair isn't a beard." She said with a slight smile.
"Three? girl all this hair." I said laughing back.
Kamiya
Me and Cameron got into the office and took out seats with the twins.
"Hello." Ms. Mary said
"Hi." I said
"Wassup." Cameron said
I shook my head.
"Okay so from our last session what has changed?" She asked
"Well someone got me arrest for raping and kidnapping a child I consider my son. Then my baby sister got raped." I said
"Oh my god what the hell? Is she okay? Are you okay? Jesus Christ." Mary said
"I'm still in the process of being okay." I said
"Cameron." Mary said
"I found out that it was my mother who did all of it. She got Kamiya put in jail and she got Jamila raped." He said
I snapped my head towards him.
"What the fuck Cameron? Why wouldn't you tell me this?" I asked
"You were already stress with Jamila and the boys. I didn't want to add more." He said
"Have you both been spending time with the boys?" Mary asked
"He has." I said
"Let's try something. Both of you hold you hand out and see who either twin goes to." Mary said
We both held out hand out and Anthony reached for Cameron while Marcus reached for me. I picked him up and sat him on my lap.
"I guess they each have their favorite. It's crazy how much they look like him. It's like he pushed them out himself." She said
"That's what I said." I said
"Is there anything you two wanna get off your chest?" She asked
"I wanna get married." Cameron said.
I looked at him and he was dead serious.
"Kamiya what's your response?" Mary asked
"Cameron I love you and you know I'm going through a lot right now." I said
"Why do you want to marry her?" Mary asked
"Because I know she's the love of my life. You don't know this but she actually changed me a lot. She the first to ever stand up to me. She makes me feel like a whole different person. I'm my happiest when I'm with her and I'm finally realizing that I wouldn't want to live the rest of my life without her. No woman could ever replace her so I don't want any woman to think they can." Cameron said
"Kamiya." Mary said
"I want to marry him don't get me wrong. It's just my sister and this drama has to change first." I said
"No sweetie why do you want to marry him?" Mary asked
"Because he's everything I want. I always wanted to be with someone that made me feel protected. Like he said when I'm with him I'm my happiest. I never ever thought I would fall in love with him. He was literally my first everything and I wouldn't replace him" I said
"Do you both think your ready for marriage?" Mary asked
"I mean we act married. He calls me his wife to everyone." I said
"Well I want you to do what your heart wants." She said
A timer went off and the session was over. We said our good byes and left.
