Nick- Wanted...By...YOUR Gang

Nick P.O.V
We were walking through the street, I kept glancing at y/n, why do they look so familiar?
"It's getting dark, I think we need to find a place to rest for the night" I suggested
"Yeah, good idea" y/n agreed
"We went into a house and we decided to search the place before we start to barricade the area,
"I'll take the rooms down the corridor" I suggested and walked off leaving y/n to explore the other rooms

Reader P.O.V
I was in the kitchen looking for supplies until I heard something behind me I quickly turned around to where I heard it
"Nick?" I shakily asked, no answer, just like the first time, persuading my self it was just me being paranoid, turned around and continued looking, I heard the creaking of the floor, as big boots walked over them, getting closer and closer
"Nick? AH-" suddenly a cloth was placed over my mouth and nose, i fell limp and the world around me faded to back

Nick P.O.V
I was in a bedroom looking for anything I can find, to my utter most surprise... I found nothing...
"Ass clown!" I whispered to myself
"AH-" was that? Y/n? I quickly turned to the exit of the bedroom for someone to be standing in the way
"Hello nick, ya miss me?"

Reader P.O.V
I opened my eyes, I was standing up, but someone was holding me up, their hands were big and rough, felt like sand paper, I was trying to get fully awake but my body wasn't co-operating and still felt drowsy, I looked up to see nick run towards me, he cups my faces in his hands
"Y/n? You okay? Talk to me!"
"Nick I-" I tried to speak but got interrupted
"Now now nick, no consulting with the victim" another man walked in and put his hand on nicks shoulder and moved backwards away from me, "my my, hasn't it been a while y/n, I can't believe your alive, outstanding" the man continued, I was coming to my senses and started to become more fully awake, I suddenly became aware of my surroundings and head butted the guy behind me who was holding me, he fell back onto the floor, two others charged at me, one from my left and one from my right, i ducked and grabbed the guy from right and swung him into the man on the left
"Enough!" The leader yelled, his other men that stood behind him pointed guns at me and nick, I looked at nick, then my eyes caught something on his hand, oh my god- no- it can't be...
That's the same ring as my uncles gang,
"No..." I whispered, suddenly the leader lowered his bandana from his face
"Uncle kenny?!" I say shocked "nick, you're apart of his gang?!" I looked at him with tears in my eyes
"No I-" suddenly nick got interrupted by kenny
"Well he WAS, back in the days before the apocalypse, and speaking of before the apocalypse, it seemed that a little brat STOLE OUR SHIT after everything I did for you!" he yelled
"No- you don't understand!" I replied, he raised his hand, his men's guns lowered and the man from before took hold of me again,
"Now you guys keep y/n company whilst me and nick have a little talk" he said putting and arm over nick and leading him to another room
"No- wait- what about y/n?" Nick asked stopping,
"Don't worry about her, c'mon nick who is more important? Your brothers or THAT person" he laughed
"You ain't my brothers" nick spat
"I knew your were an asshole nick but even that's a little too much, what about all of our history?"
"Our history was bullshit, I spent most of my life trying to not get in jail and lying to people, I was sick of it" nick removed Kenny's arm, Kenny wasn't pleased by nicks actions and raised his hand
"Boys" he spoke, suddenly I was pushed to the ground, and the man turned me over so I was laying on my back
"Get the fuck off me!" I spat
"Not a chance sweetie," he replied gruffly
"Geez man, ever thought of eating something OTHER than meat?" I moaned at the stench of his breath
"What?!" The man started to get angry
"Listen nick, you left us, you left your brothers when this shit broke out, and we would like our faithful member back in the gang, and look! We found the bitch that was wanted for stealing OUR shit!" Kenny spoke
'That's why y/n looked familiar! She was wanted by my gang... by me...' nick thought
"I'm never going back" He said sternly
"Are you sure?" Kenny asked, which made nick feel very unsure, I struggled against the mans grip.
"I am" he replied,
"You know my niece has appeared to be "immune" to this virus" Kenny spoke coming towards me,
"How is she? What? That's not possible? How would you know?" Nick stuttered
"This bite mark on her arm explains it" he pulled uonmy jacket sleeve and revealed a bite
"Shit" I muttered to my self and started to struggle against the mans grip once more, Kenny let go of me and walked back to nick,
"She has filthy blood, came from a filthy place, she is infected, she is abnormal, filthy, filthy, filthy" he shook his head "and I don't like dirt" he gritted and have a look to the man on top of me, suddenly he pulled out a pocket knife and rolled up my sleeve
"Hey what are you doing?!" I struggled against his grip,
"Bear with me now sweets, Imma little rusty" he laughed and placed the blade on my skin, my breathing quickened and became more heavy, suddenly the pressure from the knife increased and dug into my skin, I screamed in agony feeling a warm liquid on my arm.
"NO!" Nick yelled
"You know what nick?! You left us!" I continued to scream from the pain as Kenny continued "you left us, with some of OUR SHIT, and you DIDNT come back! You betrayed us NICK! And do you know what we do to traitors nick? We teach em a lesson" he smirked, he walked away from nick and to the front door, "Keith, finish off with y/n and join your brothers, you oughta teach him some manners, meet back at the base once you're finished" Kenny laughed "teach him a lesson boys! No mercy!" He yelled as he went outside with some men, the man finished up with me and joined two other men who pushed nick into another room, I suddenly heard hits and groans coming from the room, I tried to push my self up to help nick but I was weak from blood loss, my left arm was shaking due to pain and my sight was blury, I looked at my arm which had "filthy blood" carved into it, a tear slid down face
"Nick..." I whispered, I heard more grunts, I pushed my self up but fell on the ground again, I heard a car drive off from the house and the grunts continued. Suddenly. They stopped, I lifted my head of the ground a little and saw someone run towards me
"C'mon, I got you, just try to relax I got ya" he spoke, I looked up at him, as he was half way through helping me up he struggled and fought and pushed myself out of his arms and fell back onto the floor and backed up against the wall, sitting against it terrified, nick was apart of HIS gang, that means nick must have also been hunting me down before the outbreak, how can I ever trust him?
"Y/n..." he looked hurt, "cmon we need to fix your arm" he took a step forward
"DON'T COME NEAR ME!" I yelled, I pushed my back further against the wall, I was clutching my arm with my hand, grunting in pain, sobs could be heard from me and tears were staining my face
"Y/n I had no idea they were hunting you down, and they just beat me in that room and look at what they've done to you y/n, I'm going to fucking kill em" nick pulled of one of his rings and threw out into the streets, "fuck man..." he whispered, he looked at me, he started slowly walking to me
"DONT" I yelled
"Y/n what they have done to us..." he got closer "is unforgivable and if I could turn back the clocks now" and closer "and refuse to join his gang, I would" his hands held mine and slowly pulled me up " so I say. We should get em...together" he smiled, still scared and shook up I gave a confused look
"Y/n instead of saving Kenny, how bout we steal from him... maybe... even food for out group?" He smirked, my nerves slightly went away and I started to feel more comfortable around nick "I can't believe I ever followed that asshole" nick shook his head
"Nah we shouldn't do anything, let him die slowly on his own, when it comes to the infected, his men... will just cowardly... run and we...should...get...back-" suddenly the world goes black and I hear nick say
"Oh shit" feeling a pair of arms catch me, then I was gone for good

I woke up, not sure how long it's been but i was in some sort of,
"A safe room?" I whispered to my self, i slowly sat up, I put weight on my arm to support me up however i feel an incredible sharp stinging and instantly lifted my arm up, "ow!" I said I rolled up my sleeve to see it bandage, seems the blood has gotten through, looks like I need a fresh one to replace it
"Hey you're awake" I hear someone say in relief, try not to put too much pressure on ye arm there"
"Ellis" I smiled in relief, he gave me a hug and I lightly hugged back, Ellis let go and smiled at me, we heard the door open, Ellis looked at the door to see nick,
"I'll leave you guys alone" he smirked
"Elllis? Not funny" nick stated, he laughed as he left the room leaving me and nick alone, he sat on my bed by my legs
"How you feeling?" He asked
"I've had better days, did you do this?"
"Well when you passed out I realised it was from blood loss so I quickly patched you up with whatever I had, carried you here whilst being chased by zombies" nick stated,
"Well?" I asked
"well what?" He asked
"do the others know? About my bite?"
"Yeah we all know and I explained everything, they understand".
"aren't you going to like, give me shit for not telling you about the bite?" I looked down
"y/n... You know you could have talked to us" he put his hand on my shoulder
"I know... But nick. I was bitten, if I told you guys God knows how you would have reacted, what if you guys just shot me on the spot? What if you guys didn't trust me?" I replied close to tears
"y/n... I can't believe I'm actually admitting this... We are all family." He spoke boldly "I love this group because you guys are the only real family I have and... I... Care about you" he admitted
I got closer to nick and suddenly kissed him on the lips, he felt shocked at first but he returned it and cupped my face with his hand, we parted, we smiled at eachother
"Don't ya wanna say something?" Nick smirked, oh that bastard, he wants me to say it first, why? He knows I hate admitting things
"I er-" he let out a small laugh
"I just wanna say... that... I...
ThinkYoureAnAsshole!" I spoke quickly. Then started to laugh
"Oh ha-ha" nick said sarcastically "very funny" he laughed along with me
"I love you too and no matter what happens in this fucked up world, I'll be here on this he'll they call earth as long as your by my side"
"Woah, nick, that's...wow" I was gobsmacked, I pulled him into another a kiss once more, we embraced each other In warm and loving hug and I never felt so happy... A few moments later we got up and joined the others
"Yall ready?" Ellis asks, cocking his gun
"Lets go" I smiled, taking hold of nicks hand without anyone noticing... He looked down at me and slightly smiled, he gave my hand a gentle squeeze and I returned it...
"Together?" He smirked
"Together" I smiled and we all charged onwards... As one...
