Fabian Rutter flew from one side of the world to the other, for college. Did he get into 'The Massachusetts Institute of Technology' you might ask...
No, no he did not.
So where do he end up..?
Why would Eddie do that? I thought he wanted to be with Patricia? Why isn't he fighting for her?? Fabian texted me
"It's complicated" I mumbled to him
He just frowned and we continued to eat lunch as normal until a voice came over the loud speaker that was placed outside of every building on campus, incase of a fire...
"As some of you may know, Fabian Rutter recently got back from hospital after suffering with a few brain and body injuries he received after being in a car accident..." The voice boomed
"...But what some of you might not know is who was with him when this accident occurred..." The voice continued
I recognised it.
I recognised the voice but couldn't put my finger on it...
"Nina Martin. Nina was the only one who witnessed the accident and was the only one who visited Rutter when he was hospitalised for that month..."
Fabian frowned towards me and I frowned back and shrugged as the voice continued...
What was going on?
"...But...there was one event...one little tiny event that might change what Rutter thinks about his beloved girlfriend..." The voice evilly chuckled
"No" I whispered
I stood up and ran.
I ran towards the headmasters office, which was past the library and a few hallways down, and fumbled with the doorknob until I opened the door.
I was greeted by Eddie.
He was casually sitting on the headmasters desk with the speaker thing in his hands.
He saw me and smirked, I gulped and heard the door slowly creek shut and rushed towards Eddie.
The speaker made a few high pitched noises as I fought with Eddie for the speaker.
He pushed me back and I slammed into the cabinet behind me and before I could do anything else, Eddie spilled...
"What Rutter doesn't know is that before he even regained any sort of consciousness, Nina Martin got a little freaky with his best friend! Can you imagine that?!" Eddie grinned at me as I stood up slowly, my mouth hanging open and my eyes glistened with tears
"Well, apart from that I hope the boys do well in their upcoming soccer match and let's not forget to give Nina Martin a big round of applause for fucking up- and it's a big one!" Eddie finished
He turned off the speaker and the words sunk in.
He set this up.
He wanted this to happen.
He knew I would never date him and took the opportunity to make him and Patricia break up while me and Fabian were broken up and somehow knew Fabian was going to be in that car accident and ceased his moment!
I leaned back into the cabinet and a tear escaped my eye and ran down my cheek.
"I fucked up" I repeated Eddie's words
"Yes, yes you did, Neens. If you had just considered going out with me- even just one more kiss or one date then none of this would've happened..." Eddie responded
He got up from where he was leaning on the desk and moved closer to me before tilting his head and smirking one more time at me before strutting out of the room...
