Nina's POV

I knocked on Fabian's dorm room door and waited for a 'come in' or whatever...

Fabian opened the door and gave me a weak smile. I smiled back and entered his room as he sat on his bed, head down.

"Fabian, are you ok?" I asked, kneeling down in front of him, placing my bag on the floor at the foot of his bed

"Yeah" he whispered looking up at me and gave me a weak smile again

I nodded and grabbed his hands from the sides of his face and kissed his palms before placing them on my waist

He didn't say anything but stared at me while I let go of his hands and wrapped mine around his neck...

(A/N: FYI: Nina is kneeling on her knees in front of Fabian while he's sitting on the edge of his bed- holding Nina's waist)

I played with the ends of his hair and rested my forehead against his and breathed in his scent. His hands shifted on my waist and started drawing patterns on my hips...

"Fabian, what-what was Derek saying to you?" I finally asked

"I was heading to History and he shouted my name so I stopped walking and turned around to see him and his friends. They walked up to me and he started taunting me and telling me how you were only using me for sex and because I was smart or whatever...he told me that you two had dated last year and all you wanted was sex...I-I don't believe him but he just got on my nerves! He was describing you- your body in such a horrible way I just...snapped!" Fabian sighed, refusing to look me in the eye...

I sighed too and moved closer to him. He pulled me into a hug- which I gladly accepted- and I rested my head on his shoulder....

"Yes, me and Derek did date but if you believe him...you've got it wrong-" I started

Fabian pulled away and frowned as I continued:

"-he was the one harassing me for sex, he would constantly go on about how he wanted me to be his...w-whore. I refused and broke up with him last November and he said I only didn't want to have sex with him because I was cheating...I told him I didn't want to right now and that I wasn't cheating and...h-he hit me. H-He started shouting at me and telling me horrible things about myself until Amber walked in and found me in the corner of my room, crying. She sorted him out and I thought he would stop after so long...but I knew after he saw us together at that party he was angry...I saw him from the corner of my eye, glaring at us. That's why I pulled you to dance so I could take my mind off it...and you did. I knew he was jealous, he never liked when I talked to other guys when we were dating...he'd shout at me every time I even smiled at a guy! But I didn't think he'd go this far.." I finished, caressing Fabian's bruised cheek

"I believe you, Nina. I trust you." Fabian whispered, lifting his head up and finally looking me in the eye and smiled at me. I nodded and gave him another hug, he kissed my cheek and I blushed...

"Know one has ever made me feel the way you do, Mr. Rutter" I smiled at him

"Ms. Martin, I have never met a girl so beautiful and amazing in my life..." Fabian smiled back

"I love you" I whispered

"I love you too" He whispered back, kissing my lips lightly...
