"Hi," breathed the familiar, incredibly tall figure occupying my doorway. I nearly slammed the door in his face. He had some nerve to show up on my doorstep again.

"What the fuck do you want?" I seethed. He shouldn't even be in this town.

"I just wanted to talk, (Y/N). Please. Can I come inside?" He looked so desperate and helpless.

"No," I said bluntly. I tried to close the door. He put his foot in it.

"Oh! Please, come in!" I seethed sarcastically. I was wearing a bitch face that would make him proud. He pushed himself into my house.

"(Y/N), you know that it's not my fault that you were almost killed. It's yours. You shouldn't be mad at me."

"Oh, well when you put it that way!" I said with sarcastic enthusiasm, sporting the most fake grin I could muster. "Get out, Sam. You've done enough damage here."

"But (Y/N), you owe me a little something for saving your life–"

"After you put it in danger! I owe you nothing, you son of a bitch." I tried to push him back out of my house, but he's built like a stone temple.

"(Y/N), you were the one who walked home without anyone to protect you."

"And you and your brother were the ones who fucking trapped the vampires in my house. I think we're done here. Get out, or I'm calling the cops."

"Dammit! Don't you understand! You owe me something. I'm not leaving without what I came for."

He moved toward me quickly, grabbing my wrists. I tried to wriggle out of his grip in vain.

"Sam," I struggled out. "Let go! Sam! You're hurting me!"

He forced his mouth onto mine and held both of my wrists in one hand, pushing me up against the wall. I slammed my head forward into his. He seemed fazed for a second but held his grip. I tried to get away.

"Sam! Stop! Please," I yelped. Tears were streaming even more from my eyes at this point. He threw me over his shoulder and carried me up the stairs to my bedroom. I kicked and screamed the whole way, punching his back. I was weak. He knew it. I knew it. And that's why he thought he could take advantage of me.

He took what he wanted from me, and left me there in my bed, battered and beaten. He tied my arms and legs to the post of my bed using scarves he found in my closet. He left me there, passed out and bloody. He took what he wanted and he left. And I swore I would never be that weak again.

--------3 years later...---------

I was walking home late from working overtime. I needed the money or I was going to be evicted. After all, I now had another mouth to feed. Damn Sam Winchester. Damn him straight to hell. The evil bastard.

Stella was at home with the babysitter. That was another expense I had to cover as a single working mom. I wish I could just take her to work with me.

I had my bag slung over my shoulder, and I was walking as quickly as I could. Our town seemed to attract vamps, and I didn't want to be the next victim. I had a machete in my purse at all times. I always had to be ready. I always wore a cross after that night.

But a vamp managed to jump me, and I ended up getting bit. He didn't make me drink from him, so I was still full human, but I had lost a lot of blood trying to fight him off, eventually I got the head off and ran, but I knew I needed medical assistance. I ran home as fast as I could in my heels and paid the babysitter before she left. Then there were two.

I carried my precious two year old upstairs and set her on the counter while I cleaned up my wound. She was playing with her barbies and wasn't paying attention, which made me glad. I didn't want her to have to see all the blood, but I couldn't leave her alone. She was too innocent. I didn't want to ruin that.

After I was cleaned up and put on a large bandage, I carried Stella downstairs on my hip, only to be startled by a loud knock at the door. I carried Stella to her crib in my room and set her in there, where she couldn't get out and was safe. I locked the door to my room as I left, carrying one of the keys with me.

I opened my front door cautiously, only to slam it in the face of the person on the other side, but not locking it back.

"Come on, Y/N! I saw what happened! I need to know if you're alright," boomed Sam from outside. "I'm so sorry. I can explain."

"No!" I shouted back. "Fuck you. Sam Winchester, I never want to see you around here ever again. You try to even look at me ever again, and you'll meet the business end of my hunting rifle. Get the hell out of here!"

Sam pushed his way through the door once again, just gentler this time, afraid I was on the other side.

"Listen, (Y/N). I know you don't want to talk to me. There is nothing I can ever say or do to make up for what I did–"

"No there isn't!"

"(Y/N), just know that I'm a different person than I was then. I have changed since then. I didn't have a soul then, but it's back. I promise. I just wanted to make sure you were okay–"

A coo came from Stella in the bedroom. I could never leave Stella alone too long before she started screaming. This was her warning.

"What's that?" Sam asked, stepping in the direction of the room.

"It's nothing, Sam," I ground, stepping in front of him. He looked at me, slightly hurt. I ran to my room and unlocked then opened the door. I picked my baby girl up and held her on my hip. A look of recognition and understanding passed Sam's face. His jaw dropped.

"She's not–"

"She is, Sam. This is what you left me alone with."

"(Y/N), I didn't know. I'm so sorry. I can't imagine–"

"No you can't, Sam. Vampires are already fucking enough. Then you add caring for my child in this environment. Now I don't go seeking them out like you idiots, but when I come across them, I know what to do. And now I'll have to train her to know if she wants to survive. And I don't have enough cash to move again. You dick. I hope you can live with yourself after what you did and what you've left behind. Because this is the last time you'll ever see her. You sick animal–"

"(Y/N), I've changed–"

"It's not that fucking easy! Prove you're different! Give us some cash to leave this hellhole! Or just never come back. Either would prove you're a decent human being with a soul."

"(Y/N), I'll do whatever it takes for you to let me help you. I'll do whatever it takes to convince you to let me back into your life. Please."
