G stretched as he walked down the halls of his palace. His bones popped in their sockets as he stretched. He stopped at a door, made of wood and etched with two symbols- a SAVE star and his Gasterblaster.

The bridal chamber.

The chamber he had created for him and his beloved Mercy, thousands of years ago, after the First Reaping.

G sighed, extinguishing his cigarette. He opened the door, stepping inside.

The room was huge, dominated by the canopy bed. There was an empty fireplace, a couch and low table in front of it. There was a closet and a bathroom. One wall had a huge window looking out into the gardens, while the others were covered with large tapestries.

For months, his servants worked hard to create a perfect home for Mercy, preparing the Underworld for its new queen.

But there had never been a wedding.

Some people wandered why G tormented himself with the memory of the woman who should've been his bride. 

Simple: because this time, G wasn't going to let her go without a fight.

He pulled the SOUL container out of its hiding place. Asgore Dreemurr floated quietly inside.
