HEY GUYS THIS IS A THING IM POSTING ON TWITTER EVENTUALLY IT'S ABOUT THE MAIN FRUSTRATION I HAVE WITH THE LGBT+ COMMUNITY SO GIVE IT A READ RIGHT NOW IF YOU WANT

MY RANT ABOUT (some) OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY: a thread

look, i get it. straight/cis people have done HORRIBLE SHIT to us. i agree. 100%.

the LGBTQ+ community has proven to try and include as many different sexualities and genders and orientations and i love it.

we're all about trying to be inclusive and equal. BUT here's the thing: when people start making-

hateful generalizations and comments on 1 or more entire group(s), it's frustratingly counterproductive.

if we want to live in a society where people don't care whether you're gay or straight, cis or trans, binary or not,-

then we have to stop saying rash generalizations that can hurt an enormous amount of people such as "i hate cis people including cis gays"--

that's not okay in my eyes. if we want to be inclusive, stop excluding people, stop being rude and unnecessary.

we have to forgive people for what they've done, not condemn them with hate.

we can be angry, but we don't have to make ugly generalizations about EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN A GROUP.

you have a right to be angry, that's completely valid. but being rude won't make a better future. thank you.
