We got back to the highway rick Carl and hershel I got out and grabbed Maggie's hand as we walked up to them she hugged hershel i watched as a truck pulled up lori got out and ran and hugged me and Carl thin rick . I jumped up when I see dad "dad" I yelled as I ran up to him he picked me up and hugged me.
For the next two days we've been on the rood all the cars we mostly out of gas we I stood with Lori and Carl she had her arms around us " I'm cold" Carl looked at her "me to" I looked up "I know" she rubbed are arms dad walked up to and polled a sweatshirt out and handed it to me I put it on and followed dad.
We sat by a fire with dad rick started to flip out. Lori took me and Carl to the car "try to get some sleep" I nodded I layed in the back Carl in the front lori left
I woke up it being a little light out there was frost no the Windows but I could see dad and rick looking at a map. I polled no my shoes and sweatshirt I opened the door and the cold air hit me dad looked up as I walked up to him he put his arm around me and played with my hair.
"Come on I'm going to show you something" dad said as me led me away from rick he stop as he pulled out a gun "this is for emergency only if I see you playing with it I'm go to take it got it" I nodded
