A/N: Okay this poem/song (could be either) is about how people try to control me, and I don't like it. I doubt any of you who are reading this like it either. Enjoy. :)

Chess Set

Did you honestly think

I’d do what you wanted

I will never let you waver

My perspective

This is me 

And I will be who I want to be

Aren’t I stronger than who you thought I’d be, 

Does it make you mad

That I’m not your pawn

In a little chess set?

I’m taking control

Like the queen

And moving all directions

And anywhere I wish to be

You better hide yourself

Because I’m making a scene

And it ain’t gonna be pretty

Okay so maybe I’m not interested in sports

Maybe I have more to live for 

Just want to spend my time how I like

After all, this is my life

This is me 

And I will be who I want to be

Everything has gone wrong

And nothing has gone right

I keep my heart guarded 

Every single night

Because of what you’re doing to me

I am no longer a kid

You act like I’m a pawn in your chess set

Not even important enough to be a rook

Do you know just how much 

Of my piece of mind you took?
