Chapter 41: Our Little Secret

Start from the beginning

Marshall rolls his eyes before he walks back out the room, closing the bedroom door behind him. I quickly finish my hair and walk over to my bed.

I pick up my black dress and slip into before I walk towards the mirror. It was lacey from the top and there was a cut on my left side. The split down the dress makes me feel insecure but this was the only thing I could find in my closet.

I seriously need to go shopping!

"Tessa!" Marshall shouts.

"Just give me 10 minutes!" I shout back as I walk away from the mirror.

"You said that 20 minutes ago." He says making me roll my eyes.

I grab my black and gold heels and quickly slide my feet into them. I spray on some perfume and grab my clutch and phone before I walk of the bedroom.

"Marshall." I call him as I close the door behind me.

"He's waiting in the car. There's security waiting outside." Nathan replys as he eats pizza. He must have ordered room service whilst I was getting changed.

"Okay." I say as I place my phone into my clutch. "I'll see you later...or tomorrow if you're asleep by the time we come back." I say as I slide the engagement ring down my finger.

"You look nice." Nathan says, making me look up at him.

"Thank you." I smile as I walk towards the couch and hug him. "Have a nice night." I say as I pull back and make my way towards the door.

"Yeah, you too." I hear Nathan mumble as I pull open the door and walk out.

"Miss Black." The security man clears his throat.

"Hi." I smile at both of the men.

"Mr Mathers is waiting in the car for you." The second man says.

"Let get going then." I say as I walk past them and towards the lift.

We take the lift down to the ground floor. As soon as I step out the lift, I am blinded by the cameras. The paparazzi are blocking the entrance and taking pictures through the glass.

"Stay close now." One of the security says as he leads the way. The other one stays behind me and follows closely.

I suck in a huge breath before the doors open. Fans and paparazzi scream and snap photos as I walk out. I keep my head low and ignore them as I follow my security guard towards the car.

Security push away people that are blocking my way before we quickly cross the road and walk fast towards the Black SUV. The driver opens the door and I quickly climb in before he close the door behind me.

I let out a long breath in relief as I lean my head back against the head rest. A few people press their camera's against the windows as the driver starts the engine.

"Hey." Marshall says making me turn towards him.

"Hi." I say. "That was crazy.." I sigh as I push my curls back.

"Sure was." Marshall mumbles.

"So who's party is this anyway?" I ask.

"Oh, Jeff Bass." He says.

"Should I know who he is?' I ask.

"He's a producer. He worked on my last album." Marshall explains.

"Oh." I nod.

Half an hour later, we arrive at a club. God, I hate clubs. It's just all too much, you know? I don't understand why people can't just have the party at their own house.
