Chapter 10 - Reunion

Marshall's P.O.V:
My eyes slowly start to open as I pull the duvet off me. I sit up but immediately stop when I feel something on me. I look down at my chest to find Tessa sleeping.

She's asleep in my arms as she had one of her arm snaked around my waist. Her leg was draped over mine as her head lay on my chest. I push hair brown silky hair away from her face. She really is beautiful. Tessa looks so relaxed and calm as she sleeps.

When Rosea, Tessa's cook and cleaner was showing me where I was sleeping I had no idea she was taking me to Tessa's room. I was gonna leave after Tessa and I talked but I guess we both just fell asleep.

It made me kinda angry to see her crying over the phone to her ex husband. You could tell how much she loved him because it still kinda hurts her. Just at the mention of his name, her whole mood would change.

Alright Marshall, quit staring at her and feeling sad for her!

I shake my head out of my thought and slowly move my arm away from her. As I lay her head on the pillow slowly she mumbles a few things in her sleep. I look down at where he legs is over mine.

I was guessing she just had a bath since her hair was wet and since she's dressed in a black thigh length rope. She looks so damn sexy just laying there.

You can tell she feels insecure about the way she looks but I have no fucking idea why. She has a body of a godess. She has a sexy slim body that any women would want.

Damn, Marshall. Creepy much?

I snap out of my thought and move her tanned leg off mine. I move the duvet off me and let it drop on the bed as I stand up. I yawn and scratch my head as I walk into the bathroom to take a leak.

Once i'm done I walk back into the room as quietly as I can and get back into bed since I forgot where the guest rooms are. Before I can pull the blanket over me again, Tessa places her head on my chest and wraps her arm around me. She looks so cute!

I smile lightly as I wrap my arms around her and close my eyes. I had taken a sleeping pill before Rosea showed me to Tessa's room so the pills were outta my system now and I can't go to sleep.

Sighing, I open my eyes look at the time on the clock to find out that it's only 1am. I have no fucking idea how i'm gonna go to sleep without the pills but I try anyone and soon enough, I start to fall asleep.

I wake up to space next to me empty. Tessa must have already woken up. I turn to my left and check the time. 7am. I groan as I throw the duvet off me and throw my feet onto the ground.

After I yawn and have a quick stretch. I slide on my shoes and walk out of Tessa's bedroom to find my own room. After a couple of minutes of me walking up and down the hallways and pass many rooms. I finally bump into Rosea who's coming out of her room. I'm guessing she stays here.

"Good morning." She beams.

"Hey." I smile. "I can't seem to find the guest room and my luggage's in there." I say as I place my hands deep in my pocket.

"No problem. Come on." She smiles sweetly and waves me over as she walks towards the guest room.

I thank her and follow to the guest room. Paul follows me into my room as he explains the plans for tomorrow. I take a seat on chair by a desk as I listen to him.

"Anyway, I need to head back." He says as he stands up.

"What? Where?" I ask.

"I gotta head back to Detroit. If you need anything just call." He says as we clap hands.
