"JOSH!" Tyler finally catches my attention after I've been staring into space for about forty five seconds now.
My eyes blink a couple times at a rapid pace before turning my head towards Tyler.
"S-Sorry.." I manage to stutter out an apology to my friend before my head tilts down.
"It's cool. What's on your mind?" Tyler asks, taking another bite of his Taco Bell order.
I look up at him and raise my eyebrows.
(Y/N)..
(Y/N) is always on your mind, Josh.
Tyler nods, understanding my gesture.
"Ah.." He responds to me.
"I see her everywhere." I confess.
"I know you do." Tyler understands. "Maybe you need a distraction? Something that'll cheer you up?"
I need some sort of sunshine and happiness again.
I sigh as I run my shaky fingers through my red dyed locks.
An idea struck my mind.
"Hey." I lift my head a little. "I thought of something fun I can do!" A small smile spreads across my face.
"What is it?" Tyler smiles.
-Time Skip-
Okay, it should be finished now.
I've finished drying my hair with a towel before finally revealing it to myself in the mirror.
I blink before running my hands through my newly dyed hair.
I kinda like this..
I chuckle at my new self before showing Tyler.
"Tyler!" I call out to him as I enter the living room.
"What do you think?" I gesture to my bright yellow hair.
"Yellow? I love it." Tyler laughs as he plays around with it.
-Your P.O.V-
Scrolling mindlessly through instagram, I don't really find anything that catches my eye. Then I see a flash of yellow.
Was that Josh?
I stop scrolling then scroll up a bit more.

Wow. He looks nice.
I stare at the picture for a little while longer.
Oh, who am I kidding? He looks phenomenal.
Yellow hair? HE CAN PULL OFF ANYTHING.
I toss my phone and cover my face with my hands as I lean back.
I miss my "dunshine".
-Josh's P.O.V-
I've been playing with my hair for a while now, trying to get used to it.
I sigh.
I like my yellow hair.
Ugh.
I miss my sunshine.
She's the reason you dyed your hair yellow anyway, Josh.
I groan.
My phone dings.
"Sunshine?!" I quickly grab my phone.
Dang it..
"Hello?" I answer the call.
"Josh, get dressed. We're going out." Tyler demands.
"Well, you could've asked politely.." I chuckle. "I'll be at your house in five."
Yeah, this is what I need. A night of distraction.
I get dressed fixing my hair once in the mirror.
I smile at myself before sighing as my grin falls to a frown.
I grab my jacket and head out the door.
