INTERLUDE, PART II <START BOOK 2>

Among the light and sound, we found life.

Primitive souls that thrived off each other lived in scattered groups, always adding to the world. They created new light every time shadows fell across the land, but it was the wondrous sounds they made from their bodies and their curious instruments that entranced us.

Yet they were not alone.

There was a presence that haunted them. It followed them like silence must follow a song, and clung to them like shadows at the edge of the light.

A/N - Quick question, how do you guys feel about Patreon?

Considering starting one for ShadowSong. Would still post a chapter to Wattpad every week, but patrons would get special perks (a few chapters ahead of WP, some other things, iunno!). Since I'm 98.7% sure I'll never publish ShadowSong, is something that could help me out a lot, slightly broke at the moment. Wooould anyone consider supporting me on it?
