"Girl and ?"

"He's probably use to getting any and everything he wants"

"I mean he was dressed to the nines, like who wears cazals anymore ?" Nicole tried to lighten to the mood.

"Stop being shady Nicole"

"I'm saying, that only means one thing in my book"

"What does that mean?"

"Either he a business man with spare time or he a street business man"

Janae rolled her eyes at Nicole statement causing her to laugh.

"I'm from Brooklyn girl, I ain't stupid" Nicole laughed.

"Okay, but we don't even know what he does, shit I don't even know that man!" Janae laughed.

"Well boo, does he have any fine friends, that look like him"

"Oh my gosh" the girls began to giggle.

"I can't wait to leave, taco tuesday!" Nicole got excited.

"Which Mexican spot we going to tonight ?" Janae internally got excited for the tacos too.

"Okay, so there's a spot near 96 st, I hear has the banging tacos and drinks girl! You know I owe you a legal drink now" Nicole joked.

"Okay cool, I can deal with upper east" Janae laughed.

"Good, you can invite Lisa if you want" Nicole suggested.

"I'll shoot her text" Janae turned around at her computer screen and get ready the afternoon session.

Dave

Dave paid a visit to his mothers house, his daughter Kai was spending the day with her. Dave walked up to the apartment door and knocked twice.

An average height woman opened the door and smiled.

"Sin falta", without fail

"Always on time right?" Dave smirked.

"Always baby" she hugged him tight and led him in.

"Where's my baby?"

"She was down for a nap but she should be up soon"

"Cool, cool ... Where's Dad ?"

"Took the day off to go see your little brother"

"Oh okay ..."

"So what's going with you and Mia?" Dave's mother asked as they sat in the living room.

"Nothing's going on" Dave shrugged his shoulders.

"You sure about that?"

"Yeah I'm positive, what's going on Ma you usually straight forward"

"So are you" she snapped back.

"Me and Mia, we ain't working, we never really are ..."

"Well you're going to have to work since you two have a daughter now"

"I know that Ma"

"And why did I hear you got shot the other night" Dave's cheeks turned red.

"Shot? Me ?" Dave chuckled.

" Am I laughing David, you a grown man with a daughter now, need I remind you"

Dave rubbed his temples, he was feeling a headache come on and like clockwork Kai woke up crying.
