Unknown POV

"Well, well, well May you haven't changed" I smirked as I entered the warehouse.

"Enough of the sweet talk, where is the girl" she snapped while taking an intimidating step forward.

The smirk remained plastered on my face as I walked towards her, she had a surprised look on her face when I shoved the brown folder into her chest. Her brown almost black eyes bored into my own eyes, confusion being one of the most prominent emotion in her eyes.

"What is this" she whispered as she slowly opened the folder.

Her eyes scanned the pictures I had placed in the pockets of the folder and as she turned each pocket to inspect the next picture, I watched as her eyes began to water. A quiet sob escaped past her lips as she closed the folder before placing it in her bag.

"She's grown up into a fine young lady" she said smiling softly but her smile slowly turned into a scowl.

"You said that you'd bring her to me, so where is Lana!?" She whisper yelled.

"Well I did bring her to you, in images of course since you weren't so.... specific" I smirked.

"You idiot!" She exclaimed before lifting her hand to slap me but I quickly caught it.

"I strongly suggest you don't do that, because things can go downhill from here" I snapped.

She glared into my eyes with so much hate and anger towards me it almost made me crack a smile at how pathetic she was.

"You know they'll kill you for this" she said while taking a step back.

"Oh I know, but that bitch of yours is causing quite an uproar and frankly it's tearing my family apart, as soon as she's in your hands the better for me"

"Watch it, that's my child you're talking about-"

"Hah, your child that's funny because you were never her mother, you were her aunt. The aunt that she loved so much but never knew how wicked and cruel you really were. The aunt that couldn't have kids so you decided to kill your own sister so you could have her kids, its funny because you used your husband's gang as a way of getting rid of her. And the guilt you felt inside after she was murdered was too much for your poor shrivelling heart to take, so you faked your own death." I laughed at how pathetic this tragedy was.

"Look I know I made my own mistakes but you have no right to judge me, you're the one going behind your families back to help me, you're betraying them" she stuttered.

"Yes, I know I am but it's all for the right reasons. How would you feel if a girl walked into your house with a tragic past and all the attention on her, heck she even has Xander wrapped around her little finger without her even knowing it and it disgusts me, I just want her out and if it means that I have to go against my family then I will" I seethed before walking out of the warehouse.

Xander's POV

After leaving the kitchen I made my way up the stairs towards my room so that I could check up on Lana. I hoped that she was awake and more aware of her surroundings so that I could have a talk with her about what had happened that night, but as I opened the door to enter my room I saw that she was still fast asleep.

Walking towards my bed I sat down beside her sleeping figure. The blanket was no longer covering her body, so I reached over to grab the blanket to cover her once again. As I did so I heard her mutter something in her sleep making me freeze.

"Lana, Lana please repeat that again" I whispered.

I waited silently for her to say something but there was no answer. Letting out a sigh I reached over towards my nightstand to grab the remote, so that I could watch tv.

"J-Jaime" I heard Lana mutter.

Turning towards her I waited for her to say more.

"J-Jaime p-please" she murmured while her eyebrows scrunched in pain.

"Lana, it's ok no one is going to hurt you" I whispered as I pulled her to my chest, making her body stiffen.

"He's here, I-I see him, no no no w-watch out- J-Jaime" she whimpered.

"Lana, if you can hear me it's just a dream," I said trying to calm her down as I cradled her in my arms.

Her body fell slump in my arms as her face became neutral which meant that her nightmare had probably stopped. I gently removed her from my arms and placed the blanket on top of her before standing up to leave my room.

I was going to find out why she was calling out Jaime's name in her sleep, and if I find that he had anything to do with what happened to her he was going to pay.

Slipping on some sneakers and a hoodie I decided it would be best if I went to visit Jaime at his place. That's where the incident happened since that's where the party was being hosted. Walking down the steps I was about to enter into the kitchen to get a pair of car keys, when I heard the sound of the buzzer coming from the door.

Walking towards the door I pressed the button of the intercom to hear who was buzzing at the gate.

"Who's this" I questioned as I turned to look at the mini tv in the wall near the intercom.

"I-its me, Jaime, I'd like to talk with Lana"

Hey guys

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year.

I'm sorry I have updated in well a month but I had to study for my Christmas exams and my Mocks which is in six weeks time.

My original plan was to put the book on hold but I decided against it after I got an idea about what I would do for this chapter. As you guys already know, I had writers block which was quite annoying since I wasn't able to think of what to do next

But I recently started thinking of ideas and I finally got a few that would go well with the chapter, I had about eight scenarios for this chapter but I decided to go with this one.

I truly am sorry for not updating but I hope you enjoy this one especially since we have a new person being introduced to add to the whole mystery of who did it.
