~Tsuki Hyashi~

(ATH)

"Fudging Crap!" I hissed and clutched my hand. Who thought the Sun and I would clash this much?

"Sore wa moeru..." (Translation: 'It burns!' It's in Japanese; sorry if I got anything wrong I used a translator!!) I blew on my hand and called over Daisuke again, taking a bandage for myself, and leaving some for Eliana. By the time Alena returned, I'd addressed Eliana formally, but she seemed a little nervous and totally confused. Alena exclaimed,

"Sun Warrior!?" And Eliana jumped to her feet.

"Ok! I've had some crazy dreams recently and I don't know if this is one of them but I really need to know what's going. Honestly, this is freaking me out, I don't know where I am or who you are and I've tried to be calm and shed light on the situation-" Alena raised her eyebrows at me, her lips twitching. I shook my head slightly. " I just really need an explanation for all of this!" She was dangerously close to hysterics. We didn't need this now. I did not need a panicking Sun Warrior to take care of and she seemed to not know anything. I inhaled deeply and barely noticed Moondust curl around my foot silently.

" We will explain everything, just sit down," Alena said, maybe feeling my frustration. Eliana sat down, looking tired. Alena turned to me. "You can start." I nodded.

"As I've said before, my name is Tsuki Hyashi. I am the Moon Guardian," at that Eliana frowned, looking like she didn't believe me. "You're the Sun Guardian. But, for some reason, I- we've-" I gestured to all of us, "been... relocated to earth. I do not remember how I got here, but I do remember someone else. Anyways, I've found Alena, and we've both found you. The three of us- the three Celestial Guardians- must've met for some reason. Never in the history of Creation have the three Guardians met unless something dire is amiss." I rubbed my forehead thoughtfully and nearly reached out for Eliana, but I remembered the burn and drew my hand back. "But, with the appearances of Nartoches, especially in public, there must be something up," I added, more to myself. Eliana's eyes widened.

"Shannon..."

"A Nartoche," Alena said grimly.

"No- no way!" Eliana whispered. "I can't be one of you! I mean, there's no way!"

"How can you be sure? You show all the powers of a Sun Warrior." I said bluntly. Speaking of powers, my skills were probably rusty. I'd better get training soon. Anyway, sidetracked.

"Powers?"

"You burned me!" I laughed dryly, "plus have you looked at yourself lately? You even look the title." Eliana stared at me in disbelief. I sighed. I waved my hand to the left of me, and white mist curled around itself to form a feminine replicate of myself. The figure bowed, her- my smile lingering as it dissolved back into the light. I didn't realize I was sweating. Man, I was out of practice. Eliana gaped at me.

"So..." She said slowly. "You're actually... the Moon Guardian." She gave a small laugh. "And I'm a Sun Warrior." Her eyes darkened then. "But why was Shannon after me?"

"Nartoches are enemies of Celestial beings. They are the opposites of light. All the spaces between stars, even the shadows of humans, have some essence of darkness. That is the mission of Celestial beings- not to wipe out darkness, but to keep it at bay until the Very End." Before I knew it, I was pacing the room. My nerves must be more on edge than I thought. "And because of this, we must learn to defend ourselves. If I were still connected to the moon, there would be no problem, but I can't seem to get back." I tapped my finger to my chin thoughtfully. "And why are you here, Alena?" I turned to the Star Guardian. Suddenly, I heard a soft click coming from my front lawn's fence. "Gimme a sec." I held up a hand to Alena and Eliana and quickly left the room. Daisuke stood near the front door.

"It's Mr. Cassie, Miss." He stood at attention. I groaned audibly and felt like punching the wall. Of all times! I flung open the door so hard Daisuke took a step back.

"What?!"

"Um, hi, Tsuki." He hung his head. Abruptly, he looked up and glared at me resentfully. I was surprised. "I thought you were dead!!!" He screamed, and it was then I noticed his glassy eyes as if he were crying. I should've felt something. Pity maybe, but I didn't. My heart was completely cold towards his outburst.

"I'm sorry if you thought that." I lied, my voice flat. "But it's better if everyone thought that."

"What?! Why would you want that?!" He sighed and shook his head, running his hands through his hair. "There are people who care about you out there. Like me. I.... I lo-" I cut him off with a loud sigh.

"No, you don't, Rayn. No matter what you might think, you don't lo- erm, you just don't."

"How can you say that." He whispered.

"Rayn. You have to understand. I'm not like you. But..." I rubbed my temples. He knew I was alive. And it wouldn't be long before he told an authority figure. That was the last thing I needed: humans on my trail along with Nartoches. I needed a favor. "Rayn, can you do something for me?"

"Why should I?" He demanded.

"I'm sorry that I did this to you. But you can't tell anyone where I am, or that I'm still alive."

"Huh? Why?"

"I- I'm leaving and I don't want anyone to know. But since you do can you keep it a secret?" I pleaded.

"Fine. But I expect something in return."

"What is it?"

"A farewell charm." He tapped his right cheek. "Here?" I mentally threw up.

"Ugh, whatever." I gritted out, showing my obvious displeasure. I bent down and kissed him on the cheek. Rayn practically glowed, smiling, all his anger towards me evaporated.

"You secret stays with me." He said, and winked, sliding back out of my yard. I sauntered back inside, looking for my bathroom to wash my mouth in.
