I woke up at roughly two in the afternoon, at least that was what I could tell from the suns position in the sky. The first thing I saw when my eyes cracked open was a bright blue sky, it was quite pleasant until I realized where I was. I was lying in the middle of a green field, I was surrounded by trees and the sun shined through the yellow-tinged leaves.

The little warmth the sun provided me on this cold autumn day gave me some reassurance. Yet that was the moment I realized that I had no idea who I was or for that matter where I was. I slowly pushed myself into a sitting position, pain shot through my right side, just below my rib as I did. I glanced down to see what could be the cause of the pain. The first thing I saw was light, which I was pretty sure was abnormal. I slowly lifted my green shirt the slightest bit, only to see a deep cut, only it was glowing a pale silver light. Odd. That was the only word that came to mind. This time, aware and careful of my...injuries, I slowly placed my feet on the green grass, getting dizzy quite quickly I had to lean against the closest tree.

Panic settled in, manifesting itself deep in my stomach causing it to twist in knots. I didn't know what exactly to do, I probably had to find someone to help, maybe they could jog my memory, but from what I could tell, the forestry went on for quite a while. I only thought of finding someone to help, and so I started by walking in a one directions, leaning on trees when I got dizzy or felt tired. It was a painstakingly long process, and from what I accessed within the first couple moments of my journey, I was in no condition to go very far.

After perhaps an hour I got to the edge of the forest and peered down a small hill that I was seemingly standing upon. A town stood in the valley below, I had to make it to at least the closest building. As it turned out the closest building was a high school. I somehow made it to the front doors. High schools were always hard to navigate, they were mazes. All I could do was make my way into the nearest classroom, I was getting quite dizzy. There was a blue door just down a small corridor. Gripping the cold metal handle I flung the door open. The second I walked in all eyes were on me. Including a woman, I assumed to be the teacher. She had a look of disapproving on her face and made a tsk sort of noise before she spoke to me. I was expecting her to question who I was and why I was in her classroom, but what she actually said to me was a surprise.

"Miss Morane!" For a moment I looked behind me to see who she was speaking to until I realized that she was speaking to me " Would you please explain why you are late for class!"

At this point I was thoroughly confused, how did this woman know me, how did she know my last name? How was I sure that that even was my last name!

"I beg your pardon," I say slowly, obviously confused.

"Sit down Miss Morane and don't cause any more trouble than you already have," she gave me one final look before going back to her lesson.

"Pssssssst" I look to see a girl whispering beside me, "Where were you, Eliana?" The girl had fiery red hair and bright sky blue eyes. She patted an empty seat beside her motioning me to sit beside her. A splitting pain in my head almost caused me to scream; black tinted the edges of my vision, a pounding noise entered my ears and I felt as though my entire being would shatter. I wanted to drop to the ground and claw at my mind until the pain stopped, and then it did. As quickly as it had come, it went away.

I assessed the situation again. Shannon, my best friend, was looking at me with worried eyes. I then gave her a small smile and sat beside her, I started to braid her hair, using my nimble fingers to intertwine her strands of hair, like I always do when I am bored and tuned out all of Miss Hinkers boring science lesson and relaxed into a calm state of confusion. Why was it again that I was late?
