Well I'm sure you guys can guess what this is about. I'm absolutely devastated to hear about Carrie Fisher's passing this morning. I have no words but all I know is that she left a legacy, not only as our favorite princess and general but also as an advocate for mental illness. She spoke about important issues and made us aware of mental illnesses, something that we all need to be more aware of. She was not afraid to speak her mind or cared what people thought about her. A unique and beautiful soul that we loss much much much too soon. You brought light, wisdom and wittiness to this messed up world.
Carrie gave the character and life to the princess that we all admire so much in a way that will never be able to be portrayed in any other way. Growing up, Leia was the not princess that I wanted to be because she was courageous, wise and all together the toughest girl in the galaxy. She didn't allow men to boss her around and wasn't afraid to stand her ground while giving the boys sass. Not once did she show weakness or give in to the dark side, but instead always fought for everything when she had nothing. Cheers to our favorite princess and general who has been an inspiration to us all and may the force be with you, always. ✨
Thank you Carrie for the legacy you have left as an actress and all around amazing person. A true icon, hero, and legend that will NEVER be forgotten 💛
