"Bakit hindi ka pumayag mag divorce tayo?"
She asked me after we ate our lunch together. I was leaning at arm rest of the sofa habang ang nakasandal ang katawan niya sa akin. I pretended that I didn't hear her question and focused on the movie.
"Aray!" I complained. She just slap my bicep.
"Bakit nga?" She exclaimed. Her nostrils are flaring even so she still looks lovely.
"You already know the story." I said and returned my focus to the movie.
We've been spending more time together since she resigned from her job.She became a housewife though tinutulungan ko pa rin naman siya sa house chores. Sabi niya she just want to stay at home and be wife to me dahil ang dami daw niyang atraso sa akin. I told her that it is all in the past, hindi na namin kailangan isumbat sa isa't isa at isa pa may work o wala she's the best wife for me. Hindi ko itatanggi na I enjoy the fact na most of the time nasa bahay lang siya hinihintay akong umuwi. I never thought going home would be exciting.
"Feeling ko may hindi ka sinasabi eh..." Pag kukulit niya sa akin. She pinched my cheeks pa and held it para sa kanya ako mag focus.
I paused the movie to give the attention she is asking.
"Ide-date mo ba ako pag sinabi ko sa'yo?" I playfully asked her.
"Wrong timing ka, Mister." She cupped my face at pinang gigilan niya. "May mga babayaran pa ako kung gusto mo pang makita yung Misis mo dito sa condo mo."
"I already talked to my father's lawyer. You don't need to pay it ore else they will face a lawsuit." Akala ba niya I will let her fight alone? "Kailan ka ba matutong mag sabi sa akin?"
After ng reconciliation namin, nag usap kami tungkol sa lahat pero hindi man lang niya na-open 'to. I've been waiting for her to tell me pero wala. I think this the perfect time to tell her.
"Nakalimutan ko lang." She removed my arm around her shoulder. Umiwas siya sa akin ng tingin. I pulled her back. Anong tingin niya sa akin I will let her go easily?
"Araaaaaa" Sabi ko habang pinang lalakihan siya ng mata.
"Thomaaaas" She imitated the way I said her name. She's so cute that I can't help but steal a kiss from her.
"Hindi naman sa sinasakal kita pero I just want you to know na may asawa ka na nag aalala sa'yo."I sighed. "Your burden is my burden. Team tayo, always remember that."
She just nodded her head while playing my hand.
"Tigas ng ulo mo." I exclaimed jokingly.
"Mahal mo naman." She counter attacked. Magaling!
"Do I have a choice?"
"You can divorce me anytime you want, Mr. Torres." Nanlaki ang mata ko. Nag backfire yung pang aasar ko.
Natahimik ako sa sinabi niya. Ara just keep on playing my hand. Napa-sighap na lang ako sa hangin at napa-pikit.
"May problema ba tayo, Ara?" Hindi ko mapigilang itanong sa kanya. I don't know why suddenly napunta kami sa usapang divorce.
