{Chapter 11: Inside the Mind of a Monster}

Mason's POV

Thank God I finally got that pathetic theorist to shut up. As much as I love to watch people beg for mercy from me, his voice got super annoying really quickly.

"His voice is not annoying you jerk!" Nate said, yelling in my head once again. "Let him go and you won't have to worry about it!"

I sighed aloud.

Now if only I could get the other idiot in my head to zip it. I thought I'd finally broken him when he was having that depressing break down before Matt woke up, but once I had his friend crying and begging for me to let him go, I guess it made his will to fight come back. Great.

"Nathan," I began, trying to keep my patience with him. "When are you going to give up and just go along with things? It'll be so much easier once this is complete."

"Sure," he scoffed. "It'll be easier for YOU to take over our bodies and use them for your own twisted needs! No way in hell am I giving up, not until you let Matt go and get the f*ck out of my body!"

I just ignored him as I went about setting up things for the video.

I couldn't let Matt and Nate's fans suspicious of what was really going on, so I had to film a Halloween video collab of them like Nate had planned to do. But there was no WAY I was going to do his original idea about that horrible 'purple man'... I wasn't going to give him anymore attention.

My idea was to use Nate's song 'Mangled' and go off of his fans creation of his evil side: 'Natemare.' The video concept is that Matt is kidnapped by 'Nate' who was over taken by the spirit of the Puppet to be used in his 'evil' plan... heh, too close to what is actually going on? Good! Always best to hide in plain sight!

Since Matt so 'helpfully' made a video of himself asking for help, I simply edited the clip so it didn't include anything that could get me caught and used it as a kind of 'trailer' or teaser video to hype up the 'Mangled' project coming next week.

Huh, look at me. I'm with Nate a week and I'm already thinking like a YouTuber!

"Your definition of 'with' is very deluded." Nate chided.

I ignored him once again as I finished drawing the Mangle mask on the white cloths. This would really sell the look of the FNAF theme.

Ugh. 'FNAF'...'Five Nights at Freddy's'...that stupid game. Why couldn't they have just let this murder story go like all the others left in police cold cases. Why did someone have to glorify that sick man by making a game all about his evil plights!?

I can remember that day like it was yesterday.

~flashback~

I watched the kids playing in the restaurant, having so much fun getting their cupcakes and toys, through the big glass window outside the store.

I wish my family had money so we could go to a place like this. I wish my dad didn't leave my mom and baby brother alone with no money. He'd promised he would protect us...but it didn't matter anymore. I needed to continue selling my newspapers so I could bring some money home to my mother.

"Hey there son," a voice piped up from behind me. "You selling newspapers?"

I turned towards the voice and saw a man standing there dressed in what looked like a security guards uniform. I saw a silver badge on the lapel of his coat an realized he must be the head of security for the restaurant.
