GAME CHANGER PART 2

It was cold

the darkness was cold.

my skin ached and my head hurt.

"Come on baby get up, please get up."

Ross? his ross sounded so close yet so far.

I felt fingers in the palm of my hands tickling them

"Please baby, I'll explain every single thing, just get up."

stirring I slowly opened my eyes. the first thing i saw was ross's hair

Golden locks, that i love to run my hands through.

his head was on my stomach.

"this is all your fault." i heard him speak someone else in the room scoffed.

"My fault? you're the one that Doesn't know how to take information." the voice said, it was rough and strong.

"i -" ross started but got cut off when I called his name.

"Ross." my voice hoarse.

"Laura!" he almost shouted causing my to wince.

"Oh my god baby, are you okay." he asked rushed.

"Get off of me." i forced you, causing him to quickly jump back.

i slowly lifted myself off of the sofa. my head was pounding.

grabbing my back i slowly leaned into the sofa.

"Ross. what the heck is going on, who is this man." i calmly.

but ross knew he knew i was talking Softly but he could see that i was angry, pissed off, by just the way i was shaking.

not scared kind of shaking

but furious kind of shaking

"Uh, Laura, this is my Great Uncle Shawn." He said standing.

the man came and stood net to him.

he had dirty blonde hair that was in A one in the back of his head.

he was muscular with A few tattoos.

"Great uncle Shaun, i thought that-" he said

i never heard about this man before.

"Yea i know, he is supposed to be dead, but he isn't, he used to work for the CIA when he was younger then he disappear, little did i know, he's been undercover, working for my dad." ross explained.

"okay.." i said nodding to my self taking this all in. "But i don't understand why were you about to blow each other heads off." i asked looking between the two men.

"Because Sunny here doesn't know how to handle receiving bad news." Shawn said. taking A sit on the sofa.

"Don't sit on my sofa." i said causing them both t jump.

ross looked at me, while Shawn clenched his jaws, and unclenched them then finally got up.

"What bad news." i asked him biting my lips then looking up at the too men.

ross gulped.

"Well." Shawn started but got cut off.

"Uh nothing bad." ross said siting next to me he took my hands in his, which i quickly moved.

"Shawn." i said sternly.

he looked at ross then back at me.

"Eight years ago A gang was created from A bunch of guys who went to college together all ago they called them selves the HUSKY GANGA." He started taking A sit.

this time i told him nothing just for him to continue.

"Your father, Laura, wasn't in the Gang but was friends with them , they did favors when he needed. They Husky dealt with anything you could possibly think about that was illegal. Then your father had A falling out with them, He burrowed over twenty Billion dollars, and would not pay them back for what reason, he said it was for the damages they had done for the building that they were using, the building was your father's.-"Shawn started but got cut for by ross.

"okay i think that's enough." Ross stated seeing my state. i was hunched over my headache worsen, i couldn't see my father doing those things.

"No go on.so they're after us now, because my dad owes them money?" I said grabbing ross's hands and squeezing it.

"That's just part. The leader of the gang, Steward Valona was the nerdiest of the bunch, but he became ruthless. He would kill any and any bother, Innocent or not, if he felt like killing you he would. But you father , grew A hatred for him. One night you father went to A bar and was drunk, and he raped A woman, one of the waitresses." he stated slowly this time knowing it would have an effect on me.

"Oh God." I said before i felt my throat burning and the contents from my lunch was brought up.

ross grabbed my hair and rubbed my back as i vomited on the floor.

"I'll clean it up." Ross said when i finished he excuse himself and went to the kitchen.

"Should I continue?" Shawn asked i slowly nodded.

"Yes, but the woman was Valona's wife, he had many but this one was his favorite, when Valona found out, he was furious and wanted you father killed. but some how it didn't happen. the woman became pregnant, but out of fury Valona killed her with his bare hands." Shawn stated, ross had cleaned up the vomit from the floor, went to place back the utensils. washed his hands and returned.

"So now he's after us?" i asked him, Shawn slowly nodded.

"Yes, he wants to kill every and any Marano related to your father left on the face of the earth. and well since your father is dead and he wasn't the one to kill him he's beyond furious and is really after you guys. "Shawn said.

"How do you know so much-" I asked but got cut off by riley crying upstairs. when i was about to go for her, ross had already sprang into action running upstairs.

"What was that?!" shawn asked bewildered,

he came back down in A matter of seconds with riley in his arms.

"How do you know so much." I Asked again, ross took a sit next to me, riley was falling back to sleep in his arms.

"I used to work with the CIA, i'm was a undercover, i'm your family's protector, i know tuff, i know everything, but what i didn't know was that!, you guys had A kid?!!" he asked. almost shouting.

ross looked at him with A pointed look.

"Uh, no this is my sister's daughter, she died in an accident along with the rest of my family." I said slowly looking at riley.

"Oh god this isn't good." Shawn said circling around.

"i know but i've done a lot of work, i've prepared stuff, i have someone to run the company for A while since we'll be leaving tomorrow."

"Leaving tomorrow?" i turned to ross.

"Yes, he's close to us laura, i can't let him get you, or riley." ross said sternly.

Looking at riley sleeping in ross's arms,

my headache worsen.

what is my life turning to.
