She was beyond the point of restlessness. She was beyond tired. She had hoped for far too long that Kiba would just leave her alone; let her and Naruto be happy for once. Though, that was a month ago. Kiba was persistent; it hadn't even crossed his mind to give up on her. He really liked [Name]. And before you automatically assume he's a horrible person, you have to realize that he just wants to make [Name] happy; he doesn't want Naruto to get the privilege. Sure, she probably wants Naruto instead of him at this moment in time, but Kiba just feels like if he could actually spend more time with her, he could make her happier than Naurto. More importantly he thought he could bring out aspects of her personality that she's kept hidden up until now.

He thought a lot about [Name] and frankly he loved everything about her. She definitely kept him entertained with her stubborn attitude. Not to mention she was a great person all around. Caring, passionate, funny. And he felt like if he could spend just a little more time with her, he could get her to speak her mind.

Even though he felt strongly about her, he was human. He couldn't help but feel immense guilt about blackmailing her about Naruto's job. He couldn't help but to hate that he had feelings for Naruto Uzumaki's girlfriend. And he even felt terrible for making Naruto work overtime, all the time. It wasn't right, he knew that. But, [Name] was worth it. He wished she would actually quit putting on the front that she hates him. He understands that she probably hates what he's doing to her and Naruto; but, they got along pretty well, Kiba and [Name].

One thing was certain, although he found him thinking about all of those depressing details, he couldn't get [Name] out of his mind.

Right now, Kiba was leaning back in his leather office chair, hands behind his head as he stared up at the ceiling above him. Though, he wasn't seeing the ceiling, he was seeing [Name]. He reached into the front right pocket of his slacks and brought out his cell phone. Going through his apps and reaching [Name]'s contact information in his address book. He brought up her number to message her.

'Hey beautiful ;) What are you doing?'

He waited impatiently, not once putting down his phone nor looking away from it. A few long seconds later his cell phone chimed and he stared down at it.

'I'm actually having a lazy day for once. I don't feel like doing anything today.'

He smirked; that was a throw off toward him, for sure. His fingers automatically began typing out a cheeky response.

'I didn't ask you to do me ;D I do want you to go out with me today though.'

He knew before he even sent the message that she was going to take longer to reply back to him. But, eventually she did and he laughed.

'I was far from offering anyways >:P I don't wanna get out today...'

'You'll change your mind. I'll be there to pick you up in about 15'

And after giving Naruto more work and talking to his assistant etc. he was out in the garage parking lot getting into his red [fave car] sports car. --It only took him ten minutes to reach [Name]'s place and then he was knocking on her door.

In the meantime he tunneled his fingers though his messy hair and prayed he looked okay. Though, he'd be lying if he told you he didn't think he looked pretty sexy in his black suit.

[Name] opened the door with a scowl, "What are you doing here? It's only been ten minutes."

He chuckled and made a notion to glance down at his watch, "Oh, has it? I guess I'll just come in and wait then." He took a step forward and waited on [Name] to open the door for him, for she was just standing in the way of what little bit of the door that was cracked open. After a stare down she finally opened the door and let him in.

He took in the image of her house. Looking at the furniture, how it was placed, how she had candy wrappers on the side table by the couch. He wanted to laugh, but as soon as he seen the fireplace and what was placed all over it, he just felt, well jealous. There was at least ten pictures of Naruto and [Name]. Hugging, kissing, making weird faces before the flash went off and the picture was saved forever. Hell, it was even burned into his mind at that moment. In an attempt to get it off his mind he looked [Name] over.

She was wearing a thigh length black skirt, matching heels and a purple cardigan. Her hair was fixed in what looked like to him a messy bun, that most girls liked wearing with a few strands falling down on the sides of her face. She didn't have her makeup on, yet. She looked great without it though, and so he voiced his thoughts.

"You even look gorgeous without makeup on." He wanted to reach out and stroke her cheek with his hand. Look into her eyes. Damn he wanted to kiss her senseless. However, he refrained himself and instead went over to sit on her sofa. If he would have taken the chance to glance at her one more time, he would have seen the pink blush that dusted itself across her cheeks and nose.

No one had ever told her that before, not even Naruto.

"Um. I'm going to go and finish getting ready." She fidgeted when he stared over at her. "Am I too overdressed?"

"Not at all. We're just spending some time together today. Actually, it's all up to you where we go." He gave her a sincere smile and then that time he did see her blush. Maybe he was getting through to her; that would be awesome.

"I could really go for something casual to eat right now. Like maybe a cheeseburger. Is that alright?"

        "Whatever you want."

She smiled genuinely for once and a few minutes later she was finished with putting her makeup on and her and Kiba were in his car on their way to the closest burger joint.

"So-" Kiba didn't even get a sentence out before he was interrupted by his cell phone ringing. "Just one second." He answered, "Inuzuka Kiba. Yeah." A grim expression covered his face as the caller continued speaking on the other line. "Sure, yeah, it's fine. Really, don't worry about it. I hope your kid is okay. Yeah, I'll be there in a few minutes." He hung up.

"What's wrong?" He glanced over at [Name] and then he continued speaking. But, not before he put his hand over top of hers.

"I am so sorry. I know you wanted to get a cheeseburger, but my house-sitter just called. She said that her kid was sick and she had to return home, so now my dog is at my place by himself."

She wouldn't have ever admitted it, but the feeling of his hand on hers made her heart race. She looked down at her lap to try and hide another blush that was creeping up on her face. What was wrong with her today? "It's fine. I understand the situation completely."

"If you want, when we get back to my place I can order some takeout for us. And then I'll take you back home before Naruto's shift ends."

That's when a lot of realizations came crashing down on her at once. The way she was getting nervous and actually being nice to Kiba for once. How she was letting him touch her hand, willingly. And now she felt horrible because Kiba had just said he was taking her back to his place, even though it was an emergency, she didn't even object. She should have told him no, but she just couldn't get the word to come out. She just couldn't do it. What the hell was happening to her?
