Chapter 17

CHAPTER 17

>Jerome's POV<

~

I was so glad that Sky and Jason came to our aid, but I still remember what Mitch said, "He means Adam."

And how Marcus said he wanted revenge.

~

But why get revenge on Mitch if it's something that Adam did? And if Adam knew about this why did he not tell us? I thought we were a team, a family.

~

I felt a twinge of anger towards Sky. Even tho I knew he would never do anything deliberately for Mitch to get hurt, this was still his fault.

~

All the commotion had ended. The police cleaned everything up and Mitch was now safely in bed, still asleep.

~

But Marcus had gotten away... I thought, will he come back for Mitch?

~

I sighed, I was sitting in a chair beside Mitch's bed thinking. He was just the cutest thing when he slept, every time he exhaled he let out a faint squeak.

~

I was just about to head upstairs to bed when he yawned and opened his eyes. I watched him cautiously.

~

He looked at me, "Oh, hey Jerome." He said sleepily "what happened?"

~

"Marcus, remember?" I said hopping he was ok.

~

"Oh yeah, Did anyone get hurt?" He replied.

~

"No... Um, just you." I said, kind of worried now.

~

"Oh," he still looked confused, "am I ok?" He said.

~

I chuckled, "yes Mitch, you're fine. Go back to sleep."

~

"Mmm, ok goodnight Jerome, love you." He said closing his eyes.

~

"Goodni- wait what?" I said bewildered, but he had already fallen asleep.
