"Owwwww! It hurts, it hurts! It very much hurts thank you very much! Stop touching it!" I yelled, batting away Pronto's hands and clasping my own protectively over my shoulder.
The molenoide (is that how you spell it? Haha, I completely forgot) stuck his snout up into the air, in the way of high superiority. "But Pronto is an expert in healing!" He exclaimed, referring to himself in third person, as always.
Trixie rolled her eyes, crossing her arms and then slinging an arm around my shoulder gently, helping me rest some weight as she escorted me from the doorway into the living room. "Do you even know the name of what her condition is?"
Pronto rolled his eyes back at her. "Of course I do! It's a deadly disease that has sprouted in her shoulder called..." He paused for extra effect while Trixie snorted, "...Shoulderitis!"
"A dislocated shoulder." Kord applied, pushing Pronto away with his giant figure.
   Pronto spluttered.
Eli sighed and walked over from the doorway, resting a hand on my arm. "Kord, you know what to do."
My eyes widened. "Nononononono... You a not going to–"

I think every slug in the entire cavern heard my scream after that.

"Owwwww! Jeez, you just had to do that didn't you?" I cried, rolling the now uninjured shoulder to get rid of the pain.
And I couldn't help but think that Eli had smirked. "Sometimes, the old way is the best way."
"You could've at least warned me!"
"But then you would've freaked out!"
"Yeah, but at least I could've had some preparations, so that not everyone in the ninety-nine caverns would hear my screech!"
"But this way, at least we caught you off-guard so it was over and done quickly!"
       "But—"
Trixie cut in before we could go any further. "As much as I would like to watch you two bicker all day like the siblings you are, we've got a major problem at hand."
"What happened?" I asked, unable to keep the curiosity out of my voice.
Eli rushed over to the screen, where there was a large red spot in the area of bullseye cavern.
I blinked. It wasn't our fault was it? I couldn't help but think.
That explosion and raised a lot of questions that would remain unanswered. Me and Eli had been talking about it on our way back, but we've decided to keep it secret, for now, just so not freak anyone out.
I met his eye and he shook his head back at me with the same worry.
"Attack at Bullseye cavern, Locke and Loade again, armed with ghouls." Kord answered, shaking his head, "I still don't get how they managed to get them, I thought we had shut down all of Blakk's work, how is that possible?"
Eli shook his head, "I don't know, but I guess we have to find out."
"Wait." I said, speaking up from my position behind them. They all turned to look at me. "Kord, what did you just say?" My mind started turning.
    "Attack at bullseye, why?"
I waved him off, "No, what you said after that. Shutting down someone's work and such?"
     "Blakk?"
     "What's the first name?"
     "Thaddius."
My heart beat faster. "That name, it's familiar."
Eli raised an eyebrow, "We haven't told you about him yet."
I looked him in the eye. "I know we don't have much time, since we need to get to the attack, but you need to tell me about him."
      Trixie frowned. "Why?"
I sighed. "I think I know his daughter."

We raced fast and hard, trying to get to the point in turmoil as quick as we could. We had lost precious minutes discussing about Blakk, and it was my fault, but it had to be done. Now we were trying to make up all the precious seconds spent and in punishment, we had to endure heavy riding.
I grit my teeth. So that's what Hannah was talking about.
She tried to kill me for slug's sake.
    Now everything made sense.
But I burst out of my thoughts when slug fire reached my ears.
Bullseye cavern loomed up ahead, and I could see the ghouls flying about everywhere.
Right, time to get my head in the game.
"Trixie, Lillia, close in from the far end of the cavern and try your best to distract and take down Locke and Loade." Eli ordered, and for the first time I could see why he was the leader. With his quick thinking and easy orders, he naturally took authority when needed and spread his plans out evenly to everyone. "Pronto and Kord, I'm counting on you two to round the troublesome two from in front, and try to help as many of the citizens to safety. I'm going around the back with Trixie and Lilly to try and purify as many ghouls with Doc."
We all nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a plan as good as any to me." I said.
