I was walking around the hospital just trying to find something for me to do that didn't involve paying attention to someone's lips. The nerve that Bryce had to even ask me that was appalling! How were we supposed to know if he had been a victim like us or not, he was coming after us. I mean yeah he had been a victim, there was no other way to explain why he was there, but he had just gone crazy like Baldy… what more reason did I need to hurt him if he was chasing us?
"Well he's dead now Mary, no sense in worrying about it," I said to myself and looked out a window where the city lights were turning on as the moon continued to rise. I put my hands on the glass and could feel how cold it was outside.
A hand touched my shoulder and I turned to see a guy trying to talk to me. I tried to keep up with what he was saying but I really wasn't in the mood to do so. He was probably talking about how I looked like shit and probably needed rest. Which was true, but I was too upset to even think about making myself look more presentable.
He frowned and began signing and I couldn't help but smile as I signed my name to him.
The guy signed back and said his name was Andrew; he was tall with bleach blonde hair and bright blue eyes. To sum it all up he was hot!
I felt a blush creeping up my cheeks and continued talking to him, well signing. Come to find out he was here to see his mom who had just gotten out of surgery. I told him a brief summary of my friends and he looked at me funny. "You're the group that..."
I nodded and he asked if he could hug me, which I thought was an odd question but nodded anyways. He embraced me tightly and I couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging. I couldn’t even remember the last time I had had this kind of contact with a guy!
Andrew asked what room my friend was in and I told him. He said he would come by later and check on us just to be cordial. I felt a huge grin appear on my face after he walked away waving.
I had found a guy who was cute and spoke my language!
