dan loved photographs.
whenever he saw something beautiful -
twinkling dew on fresh green grass,
breath-taking sunrises,
flowers white as clouds,
or clouds that looked like flowers -
his fingers itched for his camera.
it was not enough for him to simply
enjoy it while it was there;
he had to capture it,
make it last.
he was never very good at letting things go.
