I just asked my boyfriend, Conner Kent, to come over for Halloween. He wasn't in to the whole 'trick or treating' thing, and I was fine with that. But we were going to watch a scary movie. He didn't object, so I got the movie ready for when he got here. I popped some popcorn, and got the most comfy blanket I could find. After that, the doorbell dinged. I opened the door and there stood Conner.
"You ready?" I asked him excitedly.
"Yea, let's just get this movie over with," he said, but I could hear the amusement in his voice.

I ended up hugging Conner so hard I was afraid I'd hurt him. He ended up just staring at the screen with wide eyes, unable to look away. I buried my face in his chest, which caused him to look at me. I was almost asleep when I herd him say,
"It's okay. I won't let anyone hurt you." I then dosed off, with Conner's arm around me and my head buried in his chest.
