Dr. Edwards

Ash's Pov.

I walked down the hall with Idra, Tie, and Kanan following.
I knocked on Dr. Edward's door.

He opened it.
"What is it at this hour? Oh, Ash, Kanan, and.... Idra." He said.
He smiled and said,"Sorry, you caught me at the wrong hour." Idra asked,"Are you busy?" He shook his head.
"Come in." He said.
We walked in.

"What could I help you guys with?" He asked.
I said,"Have you knowest Ezra's..... that his changing. This is not meant in any scencfic way!"
He nodded. "I have but, why are you asking me this?" He pushed his glasses closer to his face.
"How do say this without scaring you....." I said.
"You already are. Just spill it!" He said, cutting me off. I sighed.
"His started to kill our men." I said.

"That's not the craziest thing I've heard. Idra would you close the door please?" He said.
Idra closed the door then leaned back against the wall.
He said,"This is bad! His still training correct?" Kanan said,"Yes." He put a hand on his head.
"This is bad, really bad. I could help if he was finshed with his training. If Ezra is doing this.... Has he hurt any of you?" He asked.

"Idra." Tie said.
Mr. Edwards looked at Idra.
"How?" He asked. She sighed and answered,"He shot me in the shoulder. Then one time he got so mad.... he put a dint in the wall." Dr. Edwards raised an eyebrow. "Why didn't you let me know. I should've patched it up for you."
Idra said,"I'm fine know, okay. I can protect myself."

Tie said,"Would he really do this.... I mean.... I know he has but, what if someone is making or.... maybe someone put a something in him."
I put hand on my hand.
"Maul...... His been wanting Ezra on his side for how long already? To be honest, I'm surprised I haven't killed him yet." I said, putting my hand into a fist.

Dr. Edwards said,"Maul.... as in.... Darth Maul?"
I asked,"You know him?"

He looked away from me.
"Better then you think." He looked back at me. "I'll I can help, Ezra..... There is a good chance he..... he may not make it alive at the end. Maul will do whatever it takes to get his way!" He sighed. "This is going to be hard. I need your guys help."

I nodded.
He lost someone.
I can tell.

Dr. Edward's Pov.

3 years earlier....

I jumped over the small old brigh.
I kept her close in my arms.

"Philp, I think we lost him." She said.

I looked back.
He was gone. "Why am I caring you again?" I asked.
She said,"Because you're a nice brother." I helped her up.
I shook my head.
"We're lucky we lost him." I said.
She nodded and said,"Don't worry, Philp. We're fine. I have your back. I'm a jedi remember!" I rolled my eyes.
"In training!" I said.

"Your mean aguring with a girl. How rude?" She said.
"Knock it off, Rebel." I said.

Rebel smiled at me.
I asked,"Why did I help you, sis?"
She said,"Because.... Your a part of this mission. Did you even get the sample?" I said,"Yes, do you really think I'm going back with out it."
She said,"It wouldn't have been the first time."
"Don't start! No on a mission...." I said.

"Yah, don't upset your brother."

I turned around putting Rebel behind me.
"Don't you dare get near us!!!" I demanded.

He laughed.
"What would I be afraid of?" He asked.
I pointed my blaster and put my finger on the trigher.
He used the force and it flew out of my hands.

I looked back up at him.
I was to late he was already right in front of me. He kicked me in the side.
I slid to the edge of the platform.

"PHILP!" She yelled.
"GO!!!" I yelled back at her.

I began to stand up.
My vision was beganing to fade.

No, not now!

Not on Redel!

I began to run over to them.
I grabbed her lightsaber from my pocket.
I threw it over to her.

The moment felt like it was in slow motion.

Maul's lightsaber turned on.
What did I do!?!

I ran faster.

I jumped on Maul's back.
He threw me off.
My side began to burn more. I put my hand on my side and looked at Rebel.
She grabbed the lightsaber from the floor and then turned it on.
She looked back over at me.
"Look at him!!!!!" I yelled.

She looked back at him but.......
She was to late.

"REBEL!!!" I yelled.
I should've done something.

I killed her! This is my fault!
Maul looked back at me.
"Why aren't you a jedi like your sister?" He asked.
I said,"Because it was my choice!"
He put his lightsaber near my cheek. I kept my eye on the blade.
"Do it! I dare you!" I yelled.

He smiled revealing his yellow death.
"No! I want to see you another day. When there is someone else left to care."
He was right, no one will care about me.

I looked at Rebel wanting to go seat right next to her.
I looked back at Maul but, he was gone.
I moved over to Rebel.

She was still barley alive.

"Rebel, look at me! It's okay.... Your going to be okay. I can fix this." I said, feeling my eyes tear up.
She just smiled at me.
She put her hand in mine.
I shook my head and said,"Rebel, I can't loose you. Your all I got. Your the only reason I kept fighting!"
She put her other hand up to my face and smiled.

"Stay the nerd I know......"

She slowly began to close her eyes.
"Rebel! Rebel, Sister!"

I tapped her face hoping she would wake up.

I kept my tears back..... except one.

She always wanted me to help people and stay safe. I'm no jedi and that's a fact. I've faced that. I will find a way to help other people.
I will say other people....
Like I couldn't save her.
