Ruffled green hats
gently waving to the breeze
the ocean murmurs...
Above the brick turrets
decayed chimneys
of the abandoned
sugar cane central
time halts
while the cotton clouds pass by
clearing skies...
In the background,
the music plays
allegro tunes
that lift the spirits
and put a smile
on my face
happiness...
