To the Hideous Blank Page

Hideous blank page!
can't you see
the tiny dots
blinking at me?
there's nothing on it!
it's in blank!
that's it! the NOTHING!
a devilish prank
by a forgotten memory
a lost word in my mind
some sort of illusory
limbo that makes me blind!
I swear there was a story!
a poem!
a tale!
but that stubborn blankness
insists to prevail.
there must be something on it
A SOMETHING to say
my fugitive proverbs
words fleeing away
I must reach some verses
and ask them to stay.
oh damned be the blank page!
the story not told!
the nothing that fades
dreams printed in bold.
