On Marco's cue she came in like a dream. I watched her as she walks elegantly towards our makeshift platform for this mock pageant. She looks stunning as always. Her smile is so vibrant that just by looking at it, I can't help but smile too. I bet everyone in this room right now feels the same way as I do. In every step, she gives a vibe of professionalism and confidence. It's as if we are in a real pageant in this very moment. That's another thing I love most about her. She likes to make a joke in almost every situation but when it comes to a task, she always give her best shot. Her determination is one of those things that makes her shine in my eyes, more than the other girls.

I tried my best to compose myself because I am one of the 'judges' in this mock competition. I needed to look cool and serious especially when asking the questions in the Q&A portion. But right now I am totally out of it. Just by her very presence, I am losing it. I can't think straight. My focus, as always, is automatically diverted to her course-wherever she goes and whatever she does.

Paktay na! Nabuang na! I silently screamed at myself. I looked away from her for a moment to retrieve my sense of reality and to really compose myself this time.

Focus focus focus Edward. Okey. You're okey now. Just calm down. You can do it.

I put on my cool 'let's get down to business' facial expression before looking at her face once again.

"Why do you want to win Ms. Universe? Ms. Teen PBB, sorry.....and what motivates you?"

Darn it! Really Edward just a simple line and yet you still managed to mess up? Great! Just great! I told frustratingly to myself. The moment I set my eyes on hers....boom! I am totally out of myself once more. I can't help it at all.

And then unexpectedly Maymay suddenly exclaimed, "Ehe...YOU! Joke lang!"

What happened next I am not sure. She's actually talking right now. I think she continue to answer my questions but I can't hear anything. Her opening statement keeps echoing inside my mind. I tried to hinder the dawning smile on my face by biting my lips. I stay very still on where I am at the moment because I have a feeling that even a slight movement might break my super self control and go straight to her, hug her and scream of joy because of what I just heard.

It's incredible how this girl made me feel like I'm in a rollercoaster ride of emotions everytime I'm with her. If only she knew.
