"So you've been offered to date Louis Tomlinson but you turned him down?"

asked Ari from her desk.

We all shared an office, desks in different corners of the room.

My feet were up on the table and I scrunched my sketch in my hand madly.

I had retold the girls my tale and they thought I was ludicrous.

"Fake date,"

I sighed slowly scribbling over a rubbish design.

"So? Date is date!"

said Ruby.

Both girls would happily take my place within the blink of an eye.

I wish it was that simple.

"If you don't say yes, I'll do it for you,"

said Ari throwing a book at me.

I caught the design book before it hit me and fiddled with it in my hands.

"But we don't get along and nobody will ever believe Louis is 'mature'"

I scoffed rolling my eyes.

"Who cares? He is one of the best looking people in the history of the world and you haven't even had a real boyfriend since high school,"

cried Ruby.

I glared at her.

"Nobody turns out to be what I'm looking for,"

I sighed again.

"Maybe dating him might loosen you up a little,"

laughed Ari.

I playfully glared at her, throwing the book in her direction. She caught it, sticking her tongue out.

"Why do I even bother with you guys?"

I said teasingly.

Ari and Ruby faked being insulted.

"'Cause we love you and you'd be nowhere without us?"

suggested Ari.

"Or it's because we work with you and see you way too much,"

tried Ruby.

I shrugged, grinning.

"Maybe. I always wanted crazy people in my life,"

That earned a book thrown at me.

After work that day, I was tired and stressed and the last thing I wanted to do was see Louis or anyone related to him. So it surprised me when I unlocked my apartment door after dinner to see Jay and my mum.

"I thought you guys went home," I sighed.

I wasn't in the mood.

"Amelie please help Louis out and date him."

pleaded Jay as I handed her and my mum a cup of tea.

You know how stupid, weird and ridiculous this all sounded?

I couldn't believe my mum was encouraging me to date. I knew it was only because it was Louis.

"We don't get along. None of you people get that. Louis doesn't want to do this and neither do I,"

I sighed sitting across from the two women.

"If you say you'll do it, Louis will have no choice. I'd feel so much better if I knew you were dating him and not some wh;re,"
