Just like promised, Jade took her son to the park, both of them wearing their casual clothes. Jaden is wearing his blue Power Ranger shirt and shorts while Jade is wearing her sweatpants and her new blouse.

They were walking, Jade holding his son's right hand for his left hand was occupied by his soccer ball. Since it was a fine fine day, Jade will let her son play his favorite sport there.

As the brunette sat on one of the benches and Jaden running towards the other kids playing, she noticed how the park changed.

It had been years since she last went here, and good thing she did now, or else she wouldn't know about this, and other more thing that changed in all those years.

Suddenly, she saw her kid fast approaching, tears in his eyes. Jade's heart broke as she noticed that the little boy was crying.

"What's wrong baba?" She asked his son as he wiped his tears away, but he continued to sob, and that broke her heart. She never seen her son this vulnerable.

"M-mom, there's a k-kid there, he's making f-fun of how I p-play football." His son said and continued to sob onto Jade's chest. The brunette didn't know what to do, but she knows that she had to do something.

She stood up and asked her son where could that possible bully be and Jaden pulled her to its location.

"That's him mom!" The blonde boy said and pointed at the little boy whose back was facing them. He slowly turned around and Jade noticed that the boy seemed to look like someone.

She kneeled down to be leveled with the kid and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Hey there baba, what's your name?" She asked calmly.

"Jet ma'am." The boy said proudly.

"Look, can you say sorry to my baby for telling him that he's not good at playing football? You hurt his feelings." Jade asked and the brown haired boy faced Jaden and said he was sorry. His son quickly forgave him and both of them decided to play with each other.

Jade smiled at them as they played. She then slowly made her way back to where she was seated earlier.

A few minutes later, as she watched her son, a person blocked her view. Jade's eyes slowly trailed up as he looked at the person infront of her. When her eyes finally landed on its face, eventhough he had so thick facial hair, she recognized who the person is.

"Jed?"

"Edwards! Come on, wake up! You still have a meeting with your Grandpa at 8 so get up!" Perrie groaned as she heard her friend, Ellie, call her outside her room. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the time. It was already seven in the morning and her meeting would be at 8.

She immediately made her way into the bathroom and did her morning rituals before going downstairs to have some breakfast.

Once she was done with it, she made her way inside her car and into her Grandfather's office.

"Have a seat dear," the great Roger Edwards said. He was one of the very successful businessmen around the United States, he was very famous for he had been the CEO of one of the richest companies around the world. "Would you like some coffee? Tea? Anything?" He asked her eldest granddaughter.

Since Alexander Edwards, Perrie's father, was his one and only son and never dreamt to own the company himself, Roger decided that it had to be one of his daughters, which was either Perrie or Caitlin Edwards. Jonnie, Alex' only son, didn't want to take charge over their company, Roger's only hope was his daughters.

Since Perrie was now in the right age to start managing the company, Roger decided that it was time to teach the blonde the basic things she needs to know about how to run the company herself.

Perrie shook her head. "No, its fine Grandpa. Now what was it we need to talk about?" She asked and he then rummaged to his cabinet to look for the files she needed to show the blonde. He handed it to Perrie after.

"What's this?" She asked as she read each paper on the folder.

"That's your flight next thing tomorrow. Make sure to pack all the things listed there and have all the contacts I wrote there in your phone. We need that in order to communicate while you're out there." Roger explained.

Perrie's eyebrows furrowed. "Flight? Wha---I don't understand. Where do I need to go?"

"Back to Shields. I need you to fix one of our branches there and report to me once you're through."

Her eyes widened. She let him take her away from her home and now he's letting her back there again? She knows that she had a lot of explaining to do to the people she left there. It had been five years since she left South Shields, five years of no communication with her loved ones, five years since she last saw her friends and family. She missed them so much ever since the day she had left them, but she can't do a damn thing about it. She knows that her Grandfather would do something to them if she'll try to go back or even tell them anything about this. All that she can do is pray that they are safe and that they'll never forget about her.

Its not that Roger Edwards was a bad man, or Grandfather to her, its just that she had a debt with him. Afterall, it was him who cured Perrie's disease. So she had no choice but to follow his orders.

"When's my flight?" She asked as she went back to her trance.

"Tomorrow morning. So pack your bags now and rest well, you'll need it." He said as Perrie stood up but before she could leave his office, he spoke again. "And remember, you're being sent there for you to be ready in running our company, not to be reunuted with your friends or family, okay?" Perrie just huffed and slowly made her way out and back to her apartment.

She knows that she had to be ready for what's coming to her in this business trip. Her Grandfather might tell him that he can't reunite with her loved ones but atleast they all deserve and explanation to why she had left them for no reason.

Especially to the love of her life.
