Aneesa finished the final touches she needed to make in the desert and entered the living room where the guest were sitting ,they were chatting and laughing at something jabir said.

soon samar also joined them who was a nervous wreck while talking to sahil uncle and just wanted the night to end , but he felt relief when ahmad finally came with his family seeing Ahmad pleased expression he wanted to ask the reason for his happiness but as the were late and it was dinner time aneesa announced they should eat dinner and can chat later .Sara  saw a very flushed and visibly happy ayesha entering the living room she said her salaam and gave sara a very excited hug , when she saw sara's questioning gaze she just gave her pleased smile and replied "later"

After dinner all of them were sitting eating dessert ,when ayesha called sara to come with her upstairs
they both went upstairs in sara's room . ayesha told sara to close the door and as they both sat on then bed ayesha hugged sara and said
"sara, Allhamdullilah i have a great news!! i'm pregnant " tears already forming in her eyes

it took few second to sara to register what ayesha said and when it did she started jumping with glee , she hugged ayesha back

" mabrook , ayesha i cant tell you how happy i am to hear this ,i know InshaAllah you are going to be an amazing mom " said sara cheerfully so happy for her friend

" ya Allah sara i'm so happy ,you should have seen Ahmad's face when i told him , we are beyond ecstatic " said ayesha wiping her tears

sara had no doubt about ahmad and ayesha's happiness as she and kareem has experienced it themselves and she wouldn't trade it for anything else

she still remember the expression on kareem's face when she told him that she was pregnant ,hearing this he had started crying and after that they both had prayed two rakat nafl prayer to thank Allah for giving them this great blessing

After dinner Ahmed and samar went to the balcony , as samar couldn't take a single minute of this awkward night ,he just knew sahil uncle was expecting that he would pop out the question anytime by the glances he was giving him every minute, as dinner was done ,they were just thinking that now he is going to ask them about ruba's hand in marriage, which he was not and now it was getting painfully unbearable for him to sit there so as soon as ahmed told to come with him he gladly agreed

"so what is the good news?"samar asked Ahmed

" what do you mean?" asked ahmed acting clueless

"Ahmed ,don't even try to act oblivious ... you can't keep smile off your face since the moment you have entered , i know you're dying to tell me something so just spit it out" said samar knowing all to well that his friend from childhood can't hide anything from him

"ok so, its just we decided that we will not tell this to anyone till three months but i know ayesha have told the news to sara and as i am doing a very bad job myself of hiding it i want you to know that Allhamdullilah I am going to be father " said Ahmed grinning from ear to ear

samar hugged Amhed and congratulated him on this great news, he knew Ahmed will be a great father , he has known him his whole life and never he has seen him so happy, his eyes were glistening with tears and he couldn't stop smiling this is exactly what he wanted for his life ,but not with ruba , he was going to tell his mother that he has decided that he is not going to marry ruba

"so you think they are finally going to decide the date?" asked ruba to ayesha

"what date?" asked ayesha confused of what ruba was talking about ,sara has just gone to put anaya to sleep and suddenly whole demeanor of ruba has changed, she sounded excited about something

"the date of engagement ..ayesha , the reason of today's dinner" said ruba explaining to ayesha as if she should have altready known it

" what? really " said ayesha clearly shocked that why anybody has not told her about this .Ahmed also didn't mentioned this news to her her believe me Ahmed told her everything.

"anyways , i am so excited i even decided what i am going to wear , as there is still two to three years till the wedding happens but i have told my parents to pick a date of next month for the engagement ,you know i have told my mom to tell samar's parents that we are not going to live in this house after marriage."

it took a minute for ayesha to digest what ruba was saying but when it did she said

"don't you think ruba you are getting ahead of yourself and even then you can't make such unreasonable demands ,do you think samar will move out after marriage ?"

"i don't think its unreasonable , sara lives in this house and samar is not a mahram to her even now i don't like that they live in a same house so,how can i live in this house after marriage when she also lives here . samar have to understand this. i'll explain this to him Anyways if sara decides to remarry than i don't have any problem living in this house"said ruba haughtingly clearly oblivious to her surrounding because unknown to her sara was standing just at the back and has heard everything she said

"ruba , i don't know what you are implying by saying this but you don't have a say in anybody's life that is just rude. leave sara out of it " said ayesha angrily standing up for her friend .she decided that she had listened to enough of her gibberish and stood up to look for sara but as she turned she saw sara frozen to her spot but before she can even utter a word sara hastily ran away. ayesha wanted to run after her but decided against it and she knew sara has heard everything and there is no way she could make her feel any better.

she didn't saw sara after that for the remaining night ,soon they were leaving for their home ruba's family has already left taking a clue that clearly they have gotten ahead of themselves and this dinner was nothing but a get together as much as they wanted it to be something else

As Ayesha and her in laws made their way outside she waited after them to say goodbye to aneesa as she hugged aneesa she said " take care of sara"confused to why ayesha was telling her to take care of sara she gave her a questioning look
"you are going to find out soon" ayesha thought
looking at aneesa aunty she gave her a weak smile , said her salaam and went outside.
