"Ugh fine" I said giving in as my friends cheered. I was at Y/BF/N's house for a sleep over she had invited me to, they all had dared me to text a random number some song lyrics. I grabbed my phone from the nearby table, I started to type
Y/N:Hey
I set my phone down as I waited for an answer, I played with the hem of my sweater, something I do when I'm nervous, I don't know why I'm so nervous, -I'm usually not the kind to be nervous or shy, I'm pretty popular in school- what if he or she-
*DING*
I checked my phone to see that I got messages from a random number.
727-345-1432: Um hi...
727-345-1432: I think u got the wrong number
"What does it say?" Cara curiously asked as she peeked over my shoulder.
"Um, they said hi and that I got the wrong number"
"Well keep going"
Y/N: I was doing just fine before I met you
727-345-1432: Uh....Do I know you??
Y/N: I drink too much and that's an issue but I'm okay...
727-345-1432: ?!?!?!?!
Y/N: Hey
Y/n: Tell ur friends it was nice to meet them
727-345-1432: U know my friends?
Y/N: Bit I hope I never see them again
Ugh typo...anyways back to this
Y/N: *But
727-345-1432: Okayyyy...
727-345-1432: Where is this convo going??
Y/N: I know it breaks your heart
727-345-1432: What breaks my heart?
Y/N: Moved to the city in a broke down car
Y/n: And
Y/n: 4 years no calls
*30 minutes later*
"Have they answered yet" whispered Kc since we were watching a movie and Cara -of course- was already asleep, it's just me, Kc and Y/BF/N awake now.
I handed my phone to Kc for her to check "No it's been half an hour" she nodded going through the texts I sent to the random stranger earlier. I hadn't been paying attention to the movie since I hated scary movies. I fell asleep later on that night.
