Part sixteen

Trav POV:
We kept running and running because we knew exactly where Laurence was. He was in meteli. The only reason we know that is becaUse every shadow knight meets up at meteli after something like this happens.

Sad part you can't mind control a shadow knight. So Laurence must've wanted to do that to aphmau, but why? I thought they were like inseperateable.

Maybe someone threatened him, whatever it is I'm gonna find out...we soon arrive at the building...it time...

Aph POV:
I wake up and see Travis and Lucinda run away. Ugh what happened I feel like a billion bricks landed one me. I look around and see my walls crumbled.

I gasp at the sight. Then I see complete destruction. What the nether happened while I was out. Then Katelyn comes over to me and looks me in my eyes.

"Aphmau oh my Irene what happened" Katelyn asks, I look down trying to remember

"Uhh it's still fuzzy but I think I remeber Laurence coming in saying he was sorry then putting something in my drink and forcing me to drink it" I say, Katelyn gasps

"When I find him he's gonna-" I stop her

"Katelyn no, I want to deal with him" I say, she smirks

"Gonna be hard considering Lucinda and trvais just went after him" she says,

"WHAT"

"Yea they said something about knowing where he was" she says

"It's official I'm gonna kill everyone"

"Hold up there aphmau...that's my job" she says then leave

I turn into my ice form and start flying towards the woods. I mean anyone with a brain would know all shadow Knights meet up in meteli. My job is to get there before Lucinda and Travis do. Which won't be easy comsidering they know there way around places.

Travis POV:
"We're lost" I say, Lucinda glares at me

"We're not lost my senses just stopped working" she says, oh no

"We're doomed, this is all your fault Lucinda"

Then we hear something in the bushes, I creep towards it and out jumps.

"GENE"

"Heh glad you found me" he says, me and Lucinda look at him weirdly

"What in the nether are you doing here" I ask, he chuckles

"It wouldn't be much of a secret if I told you" he says, I glare at him

"Gene so help me I will turn you into a cat" Lucinda says, I smirk gene sighs

"Fine you caught me, I had to spy on you" he says, I look at him weird

"Did Zane tell you to?" I ask, he shakes his head

"No Laurence did" he says, me and Lucinda look at eachother nervously

I was about to say something to gene but Lucinda was already running. I start running after her and after I start running I hear gene say something.

"You guys are to late" he says

To late about what? Did he mean to save Laurence, cause if he did we aren't to late. I promised Laurence a while back I would protect him no matter what...and I'm keeping that promise.

Aph POV:
I passed Lucinda and Travis a few minutes ago. They looked kind of lost but I had to get there before them. I could see meteli Then I looked down and saw gene in the bushes.

Of course he would be waiting. Probably thinks I'm going on foot. Ugh I wish he would just be nice for once. Then I look forward again and metelis gates are a few meters ahead.

I float down then go up to the main gates. The guards let me in because I used to live here. Glad to know they still remember me from like 12 years ago.

I start running to behind metelis buildings. I remember that place because when I was younger I went there and shadow Knights were there so I ran back home.

After that I never went back there. I never wanted to until now. Then I remembered something. When I was younger I would go down there and hide in a building and watch them out the window.

The building had been abondoned for a few years so it would a perfect hiding place. I run to the building and crawl through the ever so familiar hole in the wall.

I looked around, everything looked the same meaning no one has been in here. I walk up the steps then stop dead in my tracks...

"Laurence gene just said he found travis and Lucinda but no sign of aphmau" a feminme voice says

"Well we need to find her everyone head out she can't be to far" Laurence says

I can't believe it...what has happened to Laurence. I quickly hid behind a machine and see a few shadow Knights go through my hole in the wall.

I went back on the stairs then slowly crept up them. I made sure not to step to hard because stairs this old should at least some creak. Once I get to the top step Laurence was staring at me.

"Perfect, glad you could join" he says, I step back

"What happened to you" I say, he smirks

"Life happened my sweet and if you come with me we can be together forever"

"No the Laurence I know would never do this" I say, he looks down

"Well the aphmau I know would know I'm only doing this because if I don't you get hurt and I can't let that happen" he says, I stare at him shocked

Is he really lying to me....
