Aph POV:
My dad is gonna kill me now. Why did I say that GAH! I'm so stupid. I lock my door and sit against it. Luckily cadenza gave me her phone number.

A-cadenza come to my house and say you need to talk to me

C-why?

A-just do it please

C-okay..

I look out my window and see cadenza leave her house. As she gets closer to my house I hear my dad cooking or something. Weird usually he would be trying to brake down my door.

*ding dong*

I hear the door open.

"Aphmau you have company" my dad yells to me

I run down stairs and see cadenza look at me weirdly. I wink at her signaling her to play along.

"Hey cadenza why did you stop by" I say, she looks at me weird then nods

"Oh I just needed help with the homework for reading, can you help?" She asks, I nod

"Hey dad me and cadenza will be in my room" I say, he nods

I knew I had a lot of exsplaining to do. But I couldn't tell her, could I?. She gives me the what the heck is wrong with you look. I look down at the floor.

"Why did you text me that and what was the tension I sensed between you and your dad" she says, I look down

"Well you see my dad kinda had anger issues and the littlest thing could piss him off, and well if he does get mad sometimes he hurts me or starves me, and I told him off them locked myself in my room and I wouldn't be able to come out unless someone was here, so I texted you and here you are" I say, she gives me a frown

"Does anyone else know" she asks, I shake my head

"No and I would like to keep it that way" I say, she nods

"Well I'm not gonna leave you here so come to my house" she says, my dad will never let me leave

"My dads not gonna let me go" I say, she smirks

"I have my ways" she says

After about a hour or so of talking. Or what my dad thinks studying. Cadenza and me head downstairs. I see my dad just finishing dinner. He smiles at me.

"Your friend can stay for dinner" he says, I nod

During dinner everyone was silent. My dad just kept staring at cadenza. Cadenza looked like she was uncomfortable. Once me and her were done cadenza started her evil plan.

"Hey aph can you sleepover" cadenza asked, she winks at me

"I don't know my dad is kinda-" I was cut off by my dad

"Of course you can" he says, I stare at him shocked

"Perfect and no need to pack I wanna make you a outfit" she says, I nod

We leave the house but then the thought hits me. Laurence is her brother. Which means he's gonna be there. Oh great...I bet he's just pretending to be my friend.

When we get there Laurence was shirtless. He had pants on but no shirt.

"Hey cadenza where's the ma-" he stops when he sees me

"Put a shirt on dummy" cadenza says, Laurence doesn't now he just smirks at me

"Like what you see" he says, I laugh

"If you call jelly rolls attractive then yes" I say, but I lied he had abs

"Whatever" he says, then heads upstairs

"Sorry about my brother, he doesn't know when to stop pushing the limits" cadenza says, I giggle

"I can tell" I say, she laughs

We sit down on the couch and cadenza pulls out a horror movie. I immediantly tense up. Ever since I was young I have been terrified of horror anything.

"Um cadenza I am really scared of horror movies" I say, then Laurence comes in the room

"Don't worry all protect you" he says, I roll my eyes

"Whatever Casanova" I say, he chuckles

We start watching the movie cadenza made me sit by Laurence on the couch. A jumpscare came and I hid my face behind my hands. Then someone put there arm around me. I saw Laurence he smirked.

Another jumpscare came and I dug my face into Laurence's chest. I heard cadenza squeal. Ugh she's on of those shippers I'm guessing.

After the movie ended I got tired so cadenza told me that I could sleep in her room. I agreed to that and Laurence frowned.

"But I wanna sleep with aphamu" he says,

"I'm excuse me" I say, cadenza smirks

"Okay then aphmau and you can sleep on the floor of my room" cadenza says, is this real happening

"But your room is cold" Laurence wines, cadenza smirks

"That's the point" she says

We go up to cadenzas room and she gives us both blankets. Laurence was right cadenzas room is cold. In the middle of the night I started shaking.

Laurence must've noticed cause he put his arm around me. I snuggled up closer to him ONLY because I was cold. I could almost see the smirk on his face.

Then my phone dings. I get out of Laurence's grip and take out my phone. It was a message from my dad.

(D-dad a-aph)
D- aphmau, be ready for extra punishment tomorrow

A-what if I don't come home

D-then I will call your mom and we all know that if she leaves work early she will get fired

A- I hate you

D-bye

I throw my phone across the room. Laurence looks at me confused and I start crying. The only way I can handle this is if...I tell my mom. I can't tell her then her and dad will start to fight and I can't let her get hurt.

But if it's the only way I have no choice. Maybe mom can call the police so he can get arrested. Laurence was holding me in his arms and I just couldn't take it no more.

My dad is my darkness and I have to get rid of it...
