Part three

Aph POV:
I wake up to cadenza slightly nudging me. I groan and roll over. I hear her sigh then she walks out of the room. I thought I had won the battle but then someone else came in.

"Wake up sleeping beauty" Laurence states, I smirk and roll over so I'm facing him

"Do I have to" I say, he smirks

"Well unless you love being tickled I suggest getting up" he says, I glare at him then get up

Cadenza gives me the outfit she wants me to wear. It was a purple tank top with a jean jacket and black leggings. I go to there bathroom and take a shower. I change in to the clothes then put on mascara and eyeliner.

My bruises from  a few days ago were hardly visible so I didn't put on concealer. When I get out of the bathroom Laurence is staring at me.

"Why don't ya take a picture it'll last longer" I say, he chuckles then pretend to take a picture

I take out my phone and see that I have two text messages from my mom.

(S-aphs mom A-aph)
S- why didn't you tell me your dad abused you
S- he's gonna kill me, I need you to know that I love you and no matter what happens he won't hurt you no more
A- mom no are you okay
S- your mom Isent available right now
A- leave her alone
S- to late for that

I take my phone and throw it at the wall. I need my mom and if I go home and she's dead my dad is gonna live in her same fate. I run upstairs and Laurence and cadenza are looking at me weird.

"I need to go home now, but I can't go by myself" I say, Laurence nods and follows me downstairs

"I won't let anything happen to you" he whispers to me, I nod

We leave the house and head to my place. I was just waiting for my dad to be standing over my moms dead body. We open the door and I see my dad and my mom tied up in a chair.

"Oh look who made it just in time for the show" my dad says, I glare at him

"You won't get away with this" I say, he chuckles

"Oh yea and Who's gonna stop me" he says, I signal Laurence to open the front door

"The cops" I say, then a bunch of cops try to arrest him but as they are my dad stabs my mom

As soon as he stabs her I collapse. Could my life get anyway worse? Ya know what don't answer that. The worst part is, is that I have to go to school cause if I don't I miss the most important test of this year.

The cops arrest my dad and a ambulance takes my mom away. Mom you gotta pull through. I'm gonna be a orphan if she dies. I'm practically eighteen I mean my birthday is in two months.

Laurence pulls me out of the house and hugs me. That's what I needed a hug.

"You don't have to go to school" Laurence says, I shake my head

"I'm going to school" I say, he nods

We get on the bus and I was an emotional wreck. Katelyn kept asking what happened but everytime she did I started crying. When I got to school Garroth and Dante Came up to me.

"Oh my Irene aph are you okay" Dante says, I shake my head

"What happened" Garroth asks, I start crying

"M-my m-mom M-might b-be d-dead" I say between crys, Garroth and Dante hug me

Dante walks me to class and as soon as we get in there I hear whispers. Dante sits next to me in this class which is good. Then I hear one girl say something that made me want to kill her.

"Oh look who's a orphan now I mean it's not bad considering your parents never loved you" I knew that voice it was Ivy, the teacher heard what she said and she got sent to the office

I started crying again. The teacher let me leave for a while. Ugh I just wanna murder Ivy. I hope she gets suspended or even expelled.

"Aphmau Phenoix please come down to the office" the loud speaker boomed

I get up from my spot and start walking to the office. The seceratary points to the principals office. I sigh then enter his room. I see Ivy crying and the principal smiles at me.

"What exactly did Ivy say" he asks, a tear rolls down my cheek thing about it.

"She said that my parents never loved me and that I was gonna be a orphan" I say, he looks at Ivy sternly

"Ivy your suspended for seven weeks an when you get back another week of detention now say sorry to aphmau" he says, Ivy Looks at me and smirks

"I'm sorry for your parents not loving you" she says, I start crying

"That's it Ivy another week of suspension" he says, she frowns

"Oh come on its true" she says, I start crying more

"That's it Ivy I am calling your parents and you are leaving school now" he says, she smirks at me

The principal let's me go back to class. The school day went by faster than I thought it would. As I was about to leave I see a boy with white hair and a boy with black hair approach me.

"Hey pretty little lady in Travis and this is my friend Zane, I just moved in next to you and Zane just transferred here, want us to walk you home" Travis says, I giggle

"I'm aphmau and sure" I say,

As we were about to leave I hear garroths voice from behind me.

"Baby brother" he says, Zane groans

"Yes it's me Zane now will you let me and Travis bring aphmeow home" Zane says, I laugh at his pronunciation of my name

"It's aphmau and I wanted to walk her home" Garoth says, oh boy here goes another brother fight

"Wanna just leave now" Travis whispers in my ear, I nod

We slowly back away as they are fighting. Once we are far enough we start running. Once we are off of school property we start laughing.

"Wow they probably won't even notice we are gone" Travis says, I laugh

"Yea" I say, we sit down on the grass a while

"Aren't your parents gonna want you home soon" Travis says, I was about to reply but then I remembered

"Um my dad got arrested for stabbing my mom who is in the hospital and might die" I say, Travis looks at me sempathically

"I'm sorry" he says, I shake my head

"It's fine, you actually are the one who made me forget about it for a while so I'm grateful for that" I say, he smiles

"If you want you can stay over at my place" Travis says, I look at him weird

"Won't your parents care" I say, he shakes his head

"They are Both gone till like four and they usually stay at hotels so your good" he says, I thank him and we start walking to his house

"You can sleep in our guest bedroom, make yourself at home" he says, I nod

When I finish sitting on the bed I head back downstairs and see Travis watching anime. I sit down beside him.

"I love anime" I say, he chuckles

"Same" he says

After about an hour of watching anime I got tired so started to head up to the guest room. I lay down and get under the covers. Before I fall asleep Travis comes in.

"all be praying for your mom" he says, I smile

I get up and hug him. He's a really good friend and I'm gonna keep him because...

He's the light in my darkness
