reality hits

Blake's pov-

I don't really remember much before the accident. all I remember is Austin.. and the pain I felt. all the emotions swirling around in a tornado

it was so much and I couldn't handle it all, so that's when I shut down. I never meant to hurt anybody; only make sure I didn't fell the hurt. but nothing seemed to help that. all I did was hurt

and so did Jai, and so did Devon. and so did my baby, my living and breathing son who needed me and I shut him out. I shut out my own little BABY! he never deserved that.

"Blake? you okay" Devon's voice snaps me out of space, and back to reality. I look up at everyone around my bed; Jessie sitting in the wheelchair. Jai sitting beside me on a chair. Devon sitting on the edge of the bed, holding a tiny baby. Slater playing happily with toys.

I smiled at them all, thanking God for giving me the second chance.

"uh, yeah. of course" I smile and Devon

I look over at the baby in his arms, sleeping cozy in his arms.

"this is Angela" he smiles, turning so I could see her better

"Angela.. a girl" I smile up at him, and he nods

"congratulations" I smile, looking over at Jessie and choking back my angry words for her..

"wanna hold her?" Dev asks, looking down at her than back at me

"mhm" I nod, taking the baby. she's so soft and tiny, bigger than the boys were of course. a perfect.. healthy.. baby

I think about Austin, his small lifeless body. he tiny little body the day there were born.

I stare at the baby, growing angry and I couldn't stop it.

beep beep beep beeeeeeep

the machine beside me starts getting louder, and my body becomes numb. my arms go weak and the baby rolls onto my lap

"Blake?!" Jai says, as Devon scurries to grab Angela.

Nurse! WE NEED HELP!" Jai screams, running over to me

beeeeeep beepbeepbeep they speed up, and my vision become blurry. the room spins, and all the voice are muffled. I hear Jai tell me he loves me, before everything goes black.

haha, short chapter.. sorry guys!! I'm ending this book so soon so like two maybe three more long chapters to go!! tysm for all the votes & reads u guys rock! 💗
