Prologue
Seeing the love of my life marry someone else is just heartbreaking, especially when I can't even proclaim my love for him. I know I need to move on. I know I need to have a clean break, but I can't make myself come to leave him, even if I have to hide my love for him; my best friend, my other half. It would just break my heart to not see him ever. That would make my decision to leave New York behind even more dreadful, but I know it's for the best. To never see him again even if it tears my heart in two, I have to do it. So I packed the remaining things left in my apartment and put them in my car and got ready to leave my home. Head to a place where I know no one, and am in a completely unfamiliar location. It's better than staying here and seeing Stuart live happily with Katlyn , where they live the life I imagined with Stuart and myself.
