Party Police

Sorry I haven’t written in a while, nothing’s really been happening.

New Years came and passed. We didn’t do anything this year. I think our neighbors opened champagne though, because I saw a small hole in the window across from their kitchen the next morning.

I heard that in New York they had to send in riot police because people wouldn’t get off the streets all night. They wanted to end the ceremonies at midnight, but people stayed and partied until seven A.M., and that’s when they sent in police. There were about ten deaths from police brutality, and now they say there’s not enough time for a “proper trial,” so the policemen are getting off scot free.

Totally worth it, though. I heard the people who were partying were trying to “celebrate the last New Year’s they’d ever have” or something.

Assholes.
