I want to remove the weight off your shoulders
I want to be that warm presence
So you feel safe
What should I do?
Hug?
I want you to be happy
To smile for real
I want to trade your sadness for happiness
I want you to live
I freeze up
Think idiot!
What is the right thing to say?!
I know your cuts
I know your pain
Your eyes say it all
I want to heal all of it
Even if I fall under the weight
I don't care
As long as you're happy
I don't care what happens to me
I won't fail this time...
