My arms ache
I'm not even close to the shore

My legs hurt
The waves keep dragging me back
Should I keep an eye on my goal?
Sand is in my eyes
It stings
Can I close them?
My lungs
They're done breathing
No more?
Water's in my mouth
I'm choking
May I sink?
My arms stop
I'm going under
Please?
I'm scared
But I'm tired
Give me a chance?
I'm not breathing
I'm not moving
