The light to my dark ||larmau||

Part one

Aph POV:
"Mom I don't want to unpack my things, I just got to level 12 on dungeons and dragons" I say, my mom rolls her eyes

"Honey you can play that later now unpack" she says sternly, I groan and start unpacking

My name is aphmau Phenoix. I just moved to Phenoix drop from meteli. I am known as a nerd to many people because of my glasses. But what they don't know is that at home my life gets hard.

My mom works only after I get home from school and doesn't get back till 1am. My dad on the other hand gets home when I get home from school. He's not the nicest when my mom Isent around.

He will sometimes hit me for no reason or he won't let me eat. Which is why I hate coming home. Cause no matter what, he's always there waiting for me...

Aph POV:

I turn off my alarm and look at the time 6:15am. Perfect my dad is already gone and it's my first day of Phenoix drop high. The school year just started like a month ago so it will be easier to get caught up on things.

I slowly get out of bed and head to the bathroom. I take a quick shower then start getting changed. I put on a blue crop top with white shorts and white converse. I put on a little concealer to hide the bruises from last night.

I head downstairs and eat a quick breakfast. I say goodbye to my mom. I grab my bag then head out to the bus stop. I was pretty early but I saw a girl with red hair and highlights coming towards me.

"Hey you must be the new girl, I'm cadenza I live a few houses down from you" cadenza says, I smile

"I'm aphmau and your really pretty" I say, she giggles

"Well I do like to design clothes and such" she says, I laugh

Then I see a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was pretty cute to be honest.

"Hey cadenza, who's the new girl" he says, his accent was kinda hot

"I'm aphmau" I say, he smiles

Then I see another boy. He has brown hair and emerald green eyes.

"Hey sis, who's the nerd" he says, I was offended

"Laurence don't be such a jerk, her name is aphmau" cadenza says, I smile

He rolls him eyes then the bus comes.

"Ignore him he's just a jerk because I kept I
Him up all night" she giggles, I laugh

(Time skip to school brought to you by angry Laurence)

When we got to the school it was huge. There were a lot of kids there. Diffrent groups of friends and stuff. Cadenza had run off to her group so I went inside the school and tries to find the office.

Once I found it they gave me my shedcule. Then a group of girls came up to me.

"Oh look what we have here some fresh meat" one girl said, I stared at her comfused

"Oh I'm sorry my name is Ivy and these are my friends Michi and skylar" Ivy says, I look down

"I'm aphmau and I'm kinda lost" I say, she glares at me

"Well that sucks for you Nya" Michi says, I glare at her

"Well four eyes have fun finding your classes" skylar says, they all laugh then leave

I was so mad. I got a fresh start and they start me off with bully's. I practically only have one friend cause Garroth never really said if we were friends or not.

My first class was history. I don't even know where anything is. I was walking down a hallway when a boy with blue hair comes up to me.

"Hey you must be the new girl I'm Dante and they principal told me to help you find your classes since we have almost every class together" he says, I smile and nod

"Oh thank Irene for you I was pretty sure I was gonna be lost" I say, he chuckles

He guides me to history where I see Laurence. Oh great he's in my class to. The teacher introduces me to everyone then has me sit next to Laurence. Well this is gonna be just peachy Isent it.

"Hey sorry about this morning, can you forgive me" Laurence whispers to me, I nod

"Ms. Phenoix I suppose you know everything about history if you talk during my lesson" he says, I don't mean to brag but I do

"Who was the first people to discover America"

"Well it was the Indians but Christopher Columbus supposivly did according to the law" I say, he looked at me impressed

"well then why don't you speak to me after class" he says, I nod

I better not be in trouble. Class ended and he ended up wanted me to be a tutor. I agreed and I think I got on his good side. Then lunch came along.

I tried to find cadenza but it was no use. Then Dante came up to me.

"Hey why don't you come sit with me" he says, I nod

He leads me to a table where cadenza,Laurence and a few other people were.

"Everyone this is aphmau" he says, I wave

Everyone introduces themselves. I end up meeting Katelyn,kawaii-chan,Nicole and Aaron.

School went by really fast. I didn't want to take the bus home so I decided on walking. Well that is until Laurence stopped me.

"Hey beautiful" he says, what happened to the mean Laurence this morning

"Hey Casanova" I say, he chuckles

"Anyways want me to walk you home" he says, my dad comes home late mostly so I can say yes

"Um sure" I say, we start walking

Everytime our hands brushed past eachothers I would blush. I didn't like him did I? No aphmau you just met him.

"This is your house right" he says, I nod

"Thanks" I say, he nods then walks away

I look at the house empty. Driveway empty. Good he's not home which means I'm safe for now. Just remember aphmau it's better not to talk to him at all.

I walk inside and as I close the door behind me I hear my dads car pull in. Oh great I got here just in time. I quickly hop on the couch and turn on tv to pretend I had been here a while.

"How was school?" He asks as he enters, I just give a thumbs up

"Great now can you help me Bring in grocerys" he says, anything I do could make him mad

I hop off the couch and go out to the car. I grab three bags and he grabs the rest. When we get back inside I put them on the counter. I stayed there standing for a while watching him out them away. Then he looks at me so I take them out of the bag and do the same.

"Why haven't you talked to me" he asked, I just shrug

"Well whatever reason I don't like it, can you please say something" he says, that's when everything I ever wanted to say to him spilled out

"I wanna say that I hate you and that you can stop putting the innocent act on cause Iknow that any given moment you will hit me or starve me and I'm not afraid of you no more so why don't you start acting like a dad" I say, then go up to my room and slam the door shut
