Imagine going out drinking with your boyfriend Steven. You two laughed and chatted the night away, getting tipsier with each passing second and each passing drink. The conversation flowed from music, to movies and some how, how you'd always wanted to sing. Steven's eyes widened a bit as he set down his drink.

"Well then let's sing!" He said holding his hand out for you.

"Right now?"

"Why not? There's an open mic and nothing and no one stopping us from singing to our hearts content," he said as he grabbed your hand and dragged you over to the mic.

He motioned for you to take the stage but you blushed and shook your head nervously.

"I'll get us started then," he said with a smirk.

He grabbed the mic and began to speak into it, addressing the crowd of the bar with that charismatic charm of his.

"Hello folks," he said, giving them all a big smile as they immediately began cheering, "my names Steven and this lovely lady and I are gonna put on a little show for you lucky people tonight!"

He cleared his throat and whispered the title of the song he wanted to the DJ who let out a little laugh as he nodded his head. Soon enough everyone was laughing and cheering even louder as Steven started singing "Dude Looks Like A Lady" and dancing about the stage. A smile was glued to your face as you watched him dance around entertaining the crowd. His gaze soon landed on you and before you could protest, he was pulling you on stage with him. The chorus began and you decided to sing along. The two of you danced and sang and had the time of your lives up there on the stage together. When the song finished, he pulled you off stage and towards the back of the bar. He grabbed your face in his hands and immediately pressed his lips to yours. You smiled into the kiss and beamed at him when he pulled away.

"You were almost better than me out there you know," he said as his eyes roamed your face with joy.

"Oh, don't lie to me," you laughed, blushing under his gaze.

He shook his head with a smile, "I mean it. Now, the nights still young and there are plenty more open mics just waiting for us, so shall we?"

You widened your eyes a bit, but he just raised his eyebrows at you with a grin as he waited for your response. You bit your lip as you nodded your head, causing that huge smile of his to spread across his face.

"Come on then," he said as he grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the bar and into the night, onto the next open mic.
