"Madilyn wake up!"Gemma shouts shaking me.

"What why,"I ask sitting up while rubbing my eyes.

"Because it's 8:50 and we need to get ready for the party,"she explains.

"Oh right,"I say standing up.

"I'm going to make you look so pretty,"she says.

"What I'm not pretty already?"I ask crossing my arms.

"I mean Sam pretty,"she says.

"Wow you say that he likes me already so why do I need to look different?"I ask.

"Madilyn it's a party people always wear makeup and stuff like that,"she point out.

"Yeah and them they end up looking like sluts,"I mumble.

"What?"she ask.

"Nothing,"I say.

"Ok so go get changed then I'll do your makeup,"she says handing me my dress.

"K,"I say grabbing the dress.

I go into the bathroom and get changed. Then I remember the scars on my arms. I put in the dress and go into Gemma's room. She's already dressed she's doing her makeup.

"Gemma we have a problem,"I say.

"What,"she asks.

"My scars,"I say pointing to one of them.

"Oh shit right umm... I don't have anything to go over that dress,"she says.

"Oh... do you have a dress with long sleeves?"I ask.

"No,"she says.

"Well maybe no one will notice,"I say.

"Maybe not,"she shrugs.

"Ok so are you going to do my makeup or what?"I say.

"Yeah come it down,"she says patting the chair in front of her. I sit down and she starts.

After ten minutes she's finally done.

"Look,"she says pointing to the mirror.

"Woah I look""Hot,"she interrupts.

"I was going to say different but yeah,"I say.

"Sam is not going to be able to take his eyes off of you,"she gushes.

"Yeah he'll probably be staring at my scars,"I say.

"He might but care about those I mean he seems to care about about you,"she says.

"Mhm sure,"I roll my eyes.

"He does I can tell,"she says.

"Ok,"I say.

"So when are we leaving?"I ask.
