"In love with me!?" I yelled at Frank and Andy after Pete left for work. I hid from him "He's in love with me!?"

"I told you this Patrick" Frank said.

"I don't feel the same way" I said stubbornly crossing my arms. They looked at each other then back at me.

"Yes you do" they said together.

"I'm gonna get hurt!" I yelled.

"He's different with you!" They yelled.

"Guys I forgot my-" Pete walked in staring at us. "Patrick" I looked at him then back at the other two losers. I stepped closer to him "Listen, about what I said earlier I didn't mean it at all" I stopped "It was the heat of the moment.  Actually, Patrick I'm with Mikey"

"N-no it's okay.  I know you didn't mean it we're friends.  Friends.  Best friends.  That's it" He nodded grabbing his jacket. 

"I have to go to work" he kissed my cheek "Thank you for understanding" He ran out quickly.  I looked back at Frank and Andy who looked shell shocked.  I laughed a little then I kept laughing.  They stared at me in confusion.  I laughed harder.  Because that's what I did when I was in major pain.  I laughed to make it go away.
